I am writing to apply for the position of an Project Engineer. As a graduate of the UCLA Construction Management Professional Program, I have taken classes with several industry leaders, including Arun Asher, Vice President of Morley Construction, and John V. Cowles IV of Hathaway Dinwiddie.

As you will see from my resume (attached), I have experience in several areas that would make me a valuable contributor to your company. Previous job experiences and abilities include Construction Management for residential building, the creation of customer price estimates, and data entry.

As a Construction Manager at Pacific Century Homes, I learned how to plan, schedule and coordinate elements for large-scale building projects on critical deadlines using Primavera P6 management software.

I have over three years of experience preparing estimates of construction costs based on engineering drawings. I'm an expert at coordinating subcontractor participation, as well as interpreting blueprints, sketches, and construction building documents.

I am highly proficient in all Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Access. I am also well versed in the estimating software, ProEst 11, Quickmeasure and scheduling software, Primavera P6. I can also learn other applications very quickly.
