PRESENT POSITION
Presently working as Senior Manager-Hydro, a Middle Management position, with Reliance Energy Limited, working in Project Group for a
700 MW and 1000 MW Hydroelectric Projects in India. Responsible for preparation of Detail Project Report, all geotechnical activities of projects and infrastructure planning and development.

Senior Manager-Hydro in Project Management for 700 MW Tato-II and 1000 MW Siyom H.E. Project, Arunachal Pradesh, India, Reliance Energy Ltd.
Joined as a Addl. Manager & now working as a Sr. Manager in Hydro Group. Associated in Planning & Execution of Geotechnical activities, Rock/Soil mechanics testing for foundation of Civil Structure, Geotechnical Survey, Preparation of Detail Project Report, In a Project Execution Group, responsible for all types of Geotechnical activities, overall scheduling, planning for the construction of project, Infrastructure planning and development like construction of Roads, Bridges etc.
2. June 2006 – Dec 2006
Sr. Geologist for 240 MW URI-II H.E.Project, Jammu & Kashmir, India.

Responsible for Geo-technical work of Uri-II Project, such as 3D Logging, Face Logging, Blasting & Drilling methodology for different rock type to enhance the pool and minimize the over cut, Rock Support system to give stability to the civil structures like Diversion Tunnel, HRT, TRT, Approach Adits and their Portals, Slope Stabilization, Exploratory Core Drilling, Different Rock and soil Mechanics Testing for rocks and Soils, Foundation Studies of Dam & Bridges, Stress analysis of Cavern & Tunnels.

Sr. Geologist for Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation.

Associated in all Geo-technical activities of Indra Sagar (1000MW) & Omkareshwar (520MW) construction projects and DPR preparation of Handia (51MW) Project, Hoshangabad (61MW) Project, and Boras (55MW) Project in Narmada valley. Responsible for survey & Investigations activities, Layout Finalization, PAF studies, Planning & Execution of Exploratory drilling, Soil Mechanics Testing, provide all inputs to Design for civil structures such as Dam & Power House and related structures, Assessment of geotechnical parameters & failure mechanism studies for civil structures.

Geologist for 280 MW Dhauliganga Hydroelectric Project, Uttaranchal, India.

Associated in all Geo-technical works of Dhauliganga Project from Day one of construction till completion of all major civil activities, worked in 3D logging, Face logging & documentation of all geological features, which affects the stabilities of civil structures. Associated in decisive role in excavation activities such as drilling & blasting methodology to minimize the over-cut and enhance the pool for different rock types. Decisive role in Rock Support System for different class of rock as per the Rock Mass Rating (RMR). Having experiences to handle the geological problems encountered during 7.0 Km (approx.) tunneling successfully (DT, HRT, TRT, DB, SFT and P/H & transformer cavern). Worked in Concrete Face Rock filled Dam (CFRD), Cutting & slope stabilization of steep sloped right bank from 160.0m height in adverse geological conditions using shotcrete, wire-mesh, grouted anchor bars of different length, grouting at different altitude of slope, concrete cladding, cable anchors, drift anchors etc. Excavation & construction of cutoff wall/diaphragm wall to prevent seepage in CFRD and Koden Test for verticality during cutting of wall hole. Associated in excavation, geological documentation & stability of one 100.0m deep, 15.0m dia surge shaft, two 250.0m deep, 5.6m dia pressure shafts. Handle severe seepage in shafts and tunnel by using peripheral grouting by different mix ratio. Exploratory Drilling, Instrumentation in Dam & P/H cavern, their installation & monitoring, Stress analysis in tunnels & caverns. Different Rock Mechanics & Soil Mechanics Testing for Rocks & Soils. Foundation studies of Dam & Bridges. Seepage analysis & curtain grouting for CFRD.
