Job Duties:
Engineer: Interpret blueprint and sketch; Drafting; Cathodic Protection (Corrosion Control) System design; Work closely with Senior Engineer for design projects; Submittals; Take off Sheet for Estimating and Material order; tracking, update project status; File all the document and job maintains through the system.
Assistant Estimator: Work with other internal personnel to develop the most accurate and complete cost proposal possible; analyze drawings and estimate labor hours required to manufacture part. Prepare bills-of-material, and get quoted vendor costs for those materials to support the cost proposal. Determine tool string, materials and hours necessary to build the tools that will be used to manufacture parts. Prepare a clear cost proposal for approval and submission to the customer. Complete the proposal package which includes all the supporting data to used to determine the cost of the project or job. Keep a status of all proposals in process until a win, loss or re-quote has been determined.
