Station Planning Architect
Vauxhall Station Project - My role is to develop and co-ordinate the design for this step-free access project, good knowledge of the LUL station planning guide and standards allows me to keep the atheistic at the forefront whilst satisfying the regulatory standards. I'm currently responsible for ensuring other disciplines e.g. engineers work along side the architectural drawings and vice versa to ensure there are no conflicting issues. Co-ordinating design review meetings between the clients Metronet and LUL is another responsibility I have to ensure the client are up to date with the design phase. I also liaised with Lambeth council planning to ensure the permitted development application was approved which did so successfully and allows LUL to proceed with the step-free access project. With regards to manufacturers and suppliers, I have built a strong relationship to ensure high quality and LUL compliant finishes are used throughout the project. Other aspects involve non-intrusive surveying, developing CAD drawings on Microstation as well as Photoshop when presenting to the client. As the designer I independently produced architectural drawings from stages E – F as well as creating the specification using NBS Building.

Cooling the Tube Project - Moreton Terrace Pent House design. My role was to design a louvered penthouse structure on top of any existing air extraction head house. The design was lead from stages E – F and involved independently producing construction drawings using Microstation, participating in design review meetings with relevant bodies and producing information for compliance reports and stage submissions as well as creating the specification using NBS Building.

Cooling the Tube Project - Somerleyton Road Head house design. My role was to design a steel brick clad air extraction head house to replace an existing twin tower version. The design was lead from stages E – F and involved independently producing construction drawings using Microstation, participating in design review meetings with relevant bodies and producing information for compliance reports and stage submissions as well as creating the specification using NBS Building.

Crossrail - My role was to assist with the submission of stage D design. This involved as part of a team creating fire, way finding, mechanical and geotechnical drawings.

System Packages – I am fluent in Microstation, Photoshop NBS Building and desktop software packages.

June 2007 – Sept 2007 Weston Williamson London

Part 1 Architect
Transport Architect Assistant – Dalston Station. This project involved designing a new Overground station as part of the East London line extension. The scheme consisted of incorporating a new concourse area with retail facilities, staff operational rooms, four platforms and a bus station. The Project was on target for a RIBA stage D submission; my role was to develop the internal and external finishes as well as liaising with manufacturers to develop the scheme further.
