Objective
My continuing professional development has led me to choosing a career providing engineering services for the oil & gas industry. I am pursuing a career, which will allow me to further broaden my knowledge and skills in this field, as well as developing the qualities necessary to become a successful engineer. The role will involve project management, technical consultancy and a high level of responsibility. Requiring me to be innovative, manage technology and respond to a continually changing environment.
Key Skills
Predominantly my numerical and analytical abilities, which have been continually developed throughout my education, particularly at university where they have been integrated into improved team working and problem solving. In my career to date I have developed my interpersonal skills, gaining the ability to relate effectively to a multitude of individuals on all levels of intellect. Act as customer support to turbine skid and package refurbishment projects including all drive train and ancillary equipment.
* Instigated a structured tracking system involving opportunities, inquiries and proposals in the sales process aspect of the company business.

Summer Internship
* Commissioning work on the Chevron Alba Phase IIb production separator, Solar Mars turbine and water injection modules at the Brown & Root McDermot yard, Ardersier. Running piping and instrument diagrams on the modules. Observed installation and commissioning of Solar Mars turbine.
* Process engineering work on the Alba-Britannia gas import / export project. Using piping and instrument drawings, prepared a level instrument calibration document for the gas import / export vessels.

* I successfully passed all compulsory and elective classes at an average of 75%, without resits and gained a certificate of merit from the department for my work in the first three years.
* The principle aim of my final year project was to produce a miniature gas turbine jet engine. The project involved a group of three students, each of whom were responsible for the specification, manufacture and testing of their engine component. Thesis, "The Design, Manufacture and Testing of a Centrifugal Compressor for a Miniature Gas Turbine Jet Engine."
