EXPERIENCE
Research Assistant Fall 2005-present
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering,
Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY.
-Developed numerical models to simulate ( in Fortran) ;
* Bubble/droplet size distribution for deepwater gas/oil transport models.
* Interaction and transport of oil and sediments in shallow waters.
* Gas dissolution, hydrate formation, hydrate dissociation, and oil dissolution in oil/gas transport models.
-Successfully completed the following special projects;
* Numerical Modeling of deepwater oil/gas blowout study for RiskBytes, BP and Zephyr Environmental: To understand the potential impact of subsea release of oil/gas on topside facilities.
* Numerical Modeling of Prestige Oil Leak: To investigate the environmental impact of the oil leak, for Spanish government.
