Duties:

1) Handling the cost control for the materials:

Being well acquainted with all the electro-mechanical material and systems, below are the major duties currently being handled by me:

- Making comparison with the budget and the letter of intents issued to suppliers in order to know our status in the project ahead of the beginning of actual procurement process.

- Analyze and compare the "Budgeted" unit rates and quantities with the "Actual" procurement unit rates and ordered quantities for purchase orders issued for every item in any project in order to anticipate problems like budget overruns for different projects, if any.

- Producing daily reports regarding above and reporting the same to the senior management highlighting any anticipated problem(s) and suggesting corrective measures for the same.

- Coordinating with the project managers for

„X Site material requirements,
„X maintaining and updating procurement schedules
„X deliveries
„X Updated stock reports.
„X Variation Order Status reports, their approvals, budget for Variation Orders and material procurement for the same.

- Forecasting the cost of remaining materials to be ordered, Subcontracts to be awarded etc. to arrive at the 'Material Forecast at Completion'.

- Follow up for materials delivery and payments in order to achieve closing for the project in time.

2) Handling the cost control for the indirect cost like:

- Mobilization
- Sp. Contractual Obligations
- Tools and Equipment
- Project Supervision
- Testing & Comm.

All the expense claims issued at site should forward to the cost control dept. in order to compare it with budget and to inform the site if they have over running in any item to reduce the usage of it.
