*Read and comprehend a coating specification
Review of all Contractor painting & testing documentation as well as raw material certificates
* Undertake frequent audit of Contractor method of storage for raw materials.
* Maintain a Painting Site Quality Log and issue a weekly report detailing all Quality activities with a summary of progress and any non-conformances.
* Supervise the installation and testing of cathodic protection systems.
* Witness all painting procedures and qualification works on the fabrication yards and project site.
* Ensure that the project scope of works as pertained to painting quality is fulfilled
*Use and examined on simple inspection equipment, including but not limited to:
1) psychrometric charts
2) Wet-Films Thickness (WFT) gauges
3) Nozzle aperture gauges
4) DFT and NIST
5) Electromagnetic DFT gauges
6) Low-voltage (wet-sponge ) holiday detector
7) High-voltage DC holiday detector
*Comprehend and use surface preparation standards
