MECHANICAL ENGINEER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF HAIL SCIENCE COLLEGE IN HAIL UNIVERSITY.
* The work is on construction of science College project in HAIL University, HAIL, KSA. The owner of this project is Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). The Consultant is SAUD CONSULT.
* This building is a block of big university containing various colleges and many areas for accommodations, entertainment, shopping and industry, etc... Our college costs around hundred million riyals, of it about 35 millions for mechanical works.
* Hail Science College is of three floors, the total gross area is 42800 square meters, with surrounding external site for the building of area about 9000 square meters.
* I have the total responsibility for executing all the mechanical field works in this project.
* I have good experience in ordering the materials required for execution of mechanical works from drainage to HVAC, preparing MSR, and reports.
* I prepare invoices monthly.
* Moreover, my work includes the supervision of the total mechanical work and technical support to people in site to achieve the right execution according to international codes and standards, also the coordination for electromechanical work.
* In addition to that I have ability to help in designing and making the shop drawings, which helps me in changing the mistakes that may be encountered in the shop drawings, whether these mistakes are in design or in difficulty of execution, and so to make the (as built) drawings.
* I work also as a technical engineer by reviewing the submittals of materials and equipments, helping in preparing variation order, breakdown of materials, reports, pending material reports regarding PO and MSR, negotiation of the consultant, and getting his approval for the submittals.
* I witnessed the chillers' test as a representative of my company in ZAMIL's factory, and also a part of the production line of the chillers.
* In this project I worked in many mechanical fields:
1- HVAC works (chillers, AHU, FCU, pumps, air separator, expansion tanks, duct works, chilled water piping, valves, fans, split units, air outlets and inlets, connection to BMS (mechanical wise), equipments' drainage, etc…) according to ASHRAE and SMACNA. There are six chillers, of them one is standby, and they are of total cooling load 2000 tons, and 52 AHU, and more than 570 FCU.
2- The fire fighting system outside and inside the building, including sprinkler system, fire hose cabinets, control units, etc.
3- LPG & compressed air works in the various laboratories.
4- The drainage and water supply systems outside and inside the building.
* Finally, I am interested in design programs as Block load, HAP, and other miscellaneous HVAC programs regarding pipe design, duct design, static pressure of fans, weight of duct, air outlets, and water supply and drainage programs.
