Key Tasks Handled
* Design, detailed engineering, procurement assistance, site supervision and commissioning for the setting-up of a 20,000 TPA carbon black plant based on technology from Sid Richardson Carbon Company, USA. The plant consisted of oil (refinery feedstock) and fuel handling systems, boilers, water treatment plant, bagging plant etc. In addition to the technological units, worked as lead engineer for the complete project liaising with both the know-how supplier and the client.

- Receipt of process know-how at Sid Richardson offices in Fort worth, Texas,USA
- Preparation of material and energy balances.
- Preparation of detailed shop layouts and engineering drawings.
- Preparation of design and tendering specifications for plant and equipment such as oil handling systems, reactors, burners, heat exchangers, pneumatic conveying systems, bag filters, micro pulverizers, piping, centrifugal fans, rotary dryers, refractories etc. - Approval of contractor's piping, layout and equipment drawings.
