Geodesist

This position was based at the main oil company office in Sumatra. Responsibilities included handling all aspects of oil company survey positioning data as requested for their GIS and corporate databases (using Finder and ArcView), and standardizing historical data into latest map datum system. Supervising oil company owned
GPS field crew deployment used across various infrastructural projects including pipeline surveys, oil rig location and seismic (using
Trimble Geomatics Office, Geolab and Trimble &
Leica field equipment). Remote sensing analysis
(using ERMapper) and mapping projects (using
ArcView and Microstation) for environmental and land matters related issues. QC and advisory help to seismic survey crews that use mostly conventional surveys for 3D/4D projects, most recently training GPSeismic to nationals.
Knowledgeable in numerous PC operating systems up to WinXP Pro, hardware, Unix based Sun and
SGI workstations.

Prior to this I have been assigned to various geophysical exploration crew operations around the world as land surveyor.
