Resolve engineering problems or find solutions in consultations with engineering groups. Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing and investigation of plant production capacity.
Experienced in concrete pre-cast yards and concrete pre-cast erection.
Research Engineer experienced in the use of strain, pressure gages and accelerometers

Management and Engineering experience:

Gammon Lakes, Ocampo, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Contract Engineer, Civil and Mechanical. Directed the construction and start-up of 2 crushing and grinding circuits. A 6,000 tpd circuit to feed a leach pad and a 1,200 tpd circuit for a merrill crowe process.

Constellation Copper, Tonopah, Nevada and Lisbon Valley, Utah.
Manage contractors for the dismantling of an SX/EW copper mill and for the future re-construction of this plant at a new location.

PDX Deice-Storm Water Project-$13 millions
Prepare, review and transmit Submittals and Request for Information to Port of Portland as well as track through internal & external processing, maintain database for Submittals; Keep directories and reports current. Participate in construction meetings. Prepare construction drawings for submittals, field supervisors and for fabrication of pre-cast concrete and piping. Order materials.

Portland Bureau of Environmental Services Tanner Creek Diversion Project-$12 millions
Maintain database for Submittals; Prepare, review and transmit Submittals to City of Portland, Bureau of Environmental Services as well as track through internal & external processing. Keep directories and reports current. Prepare construction drawings for field supervisors, order materials and log ground displacement data.

Placer Dome, Newmont Mining, and Santa Fe Pacific Gold.
Construction of mineral processing plants and ore handling facilities in the U.S.A and overseas. Projects of $50 to 250 millions.
Constructed mineral processing plants, grinding circuits, flotation lines, carbon circuits, autoclave systems for oxidation of slurries, tailing ponds and leach pads
Prepared contract documents; visited and evaluated steel fabricators and material suppliers.
Responsible for all facets of the on site works, coordinated and scheduled contractors and vendors. Resolved engineering problems with engineering groups and Owners Representative.
Evaluated cost of engineering changes.
Supervised construction of leach pads and dam in Peru for gold ore leaching. Coordinated the construction activities of contractors with a workforce of approximately 400 supervisors and operators. Responsible for decisions on disposal sites, borrow pits and haul roads.

Pre-cast concrete Parking Structures, $80 millions
Checked rebar detailing and scheduled deliveries for 2 thousands tons of reinforcing steel. Responsible for QA/QC of pre-cast plant and construction surveying. Supervised reinforcing steel placement and concrete placement.

U. S. Air Force Weapons Lab, Albuquerque, NM
Conducted tests of a shock tube to study the effects of shock waves on soils and structures.
Provided written analysis and interpreted results. Designed and built modifications to the test facility to accommodate various agencies. Supervised technician crews and shop fabrication for the experiments and modifications. Performed structural, dynamic and fracture analysis to integrate new equipment to existing facility.

Phillips Petroleum, Gulf Minerals, FMC, KY, NM, WY
Project Engineer for the sinking of deep mine shafts (3,400 foot) along with decline tunnels and the construction of pumping stations. Performed extensive pressure grouting of aquifers with silica gels or cement grouts. Coordinated and supervised mining and construction operations. Responsible for all surveying, explosive rounds design, concrete formwork design and construction. Also worked as Estimator of underground projects for mining, road tunnels, hydroelectric projects and subways stations.
