Adept using Timberline estimating system and digitizing drawings for bid. Directly involved in the bidding process from beginning to end, to include handling the bid schedules, using a variety of methods in determining which projects to bid; acquiring blueprints from architects or other sources, reviewing the bid documents, soliciting subcontractor participation, reviewing bid proposals and setting the project profit. Established and administer company drug testing program resulting in less insurance cost. Reviewing of drug test results and taking appropriate personnel action as necessary.

Once the project was acquired, might also serve as the project manager. Write and distribute the project contracts and review upon return. Establish the project schedule, buy-out the various components of the project and schedule delivery. Coordinate and lead jobsite meetings with the superintendent, architect, owner and subs and update the project schedule, setting project milepost and keeping on time. Preparation and submission of monthly pay request to the architect and approving sub payments. Checking and submission of project shop drawings for architect approval.
