Materials Supervisor

* Coordinating and controlling all materials issues for fabrication of Jackets/Production Decks and subsea flow lines for installation in Saudi Arabia;
* Expediting and negotiating with Manufacturers, Vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods;
* Coordinating with Vendors regarding transportation of goods to fabrication yard and ensuring compilation of shipping / freight documents, commercial invoices, certificates of origin etc.;
* Liaising with QC department to manage timely inspection of the goods on order as well as to arrange for field expediting visits when required;
* Organizing manufacturers/vendors site visits in order to rectify defects in supplied items or to arrange replacement;
* Proving inputs to suppliers performance measurement / improvement programs;
* Coordinating with Project Management Team, Engineering, Offshore Operations, Purchasing, Traffic Department, Warehouse (Saudi Aramco, McDermott, Worley Petrocon Consortium) to present all material issues relating to current and future construction and installation programs;
* Prioritization of daily work activities, ensuring that materials are subject to expediting in strict accordance with their criticality to the project;
* Assisting with development and updating of the Project Procurement Plan in line with Project schedule;
* Coordinating with company engineers/engineering contractor to ensure quality MTOs, BOMs, technical requisitions etc are produced in line with the Project Procurement Plan;
* Updating Project Expediting Report, ensuring Report data is fully accurate, prior to weekly issue to project management;
* Providing feedback to appropriate project personnel (in a timely manner) regarding any foreseen or actual delivery delays;
* Attending and providing inputs to PMT meetings and meetings with Vendors, as required.
