Over 20 years of Oil and Gas Industry experience, 10 years in construction, hook up and commissioning. 15 years of commissioning, start up, operations, production and maintenance supervision - including last 5 years working offshore, in construction yard carrying out hook up and commissioning, then platform start up and offshore production and maintenance supervision. During the last 10 years I have supervised and trained multi-discipline teams in Australia, Indonesia and Russia. My work included various locations around Australia – onshore and offshore (Bass Strait), Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and the Russian Far East. I have liased and worked with indigenous people in Australia on various commercial, cultural and environmental issues. Offshore Operations Readiness & Advisor (OR&A) – November 2006 to Jul 2009
Duties: Reporting to the Offshore Operations Readiness Manager, responsible for ensuring that all Offshore Operations Readiness and Assurance activities are delivered in a timely manner, in line with relevant Project & Transition Plans and Facility Handover. Provide guidance and support to the Offshore Operations team members on hardware acceptance activities. Support the application of the Operations Readiness & Assurance process by highlighting and forecasting possible conflicts between quality, schedule and cost, to ensure that project deliverables, asset integrity and plant acceptance and performance criteria are not compromised.
Monitor and advise on operational & technical relationships with various project teams and stakeholders to ensure that the combined production system can deliver as per agreed specifications.
Prepare for, co-ordinate and when required, participate in OR&A audits & pre start-up audits / reviews / peer assist sessions. Conduct regular visits to the Offshore Platforms in Sakhalin and Korea to forge and maintain effective working relationships with Platform management and staff. Deputise for Offshore Operations Readiness Manager. Provide assistance and guidance to SEIC Asset Start Up Coordinators.

Offshore Platform PIC – November 2002 to October 2006
Duties: Initially based in Melbourne head office (FEED stage) and then posted to Indonesia to supervise the Operations Team and Pre-Commissioning activities during offshore platform construction in Batam. Representing the Client (Origin Energy Ltd ) during platform construction. Liaison with, and assistance to Principal Contractor on various construction and pre-commissioning issues. Continue supervision of Operations Team during offshore construction, hook up, commissioning and Start Up period in the Bass Strait. Engagement and dispute resolution with Victorian Labour Unions. Offshore Support Vessel and Helicopter logistics management. Hardware systems completions review and acceptance. Liaison with Drilling team and SIMOPS management.

Duties: production and maintenance planning and management. Responsible for the development and implementation of CMMS package in the Palm Valley Gas Field. Liaison with, supervision and coordination of drilling, mechanical, civil and instrument/electrical contractors, engaged on field/plant modification and compression expansion projects. Service Supervisor / Construction Supervisor - October 1996 to October 1998
Duties: Develop service business for Fisher Controls, promote and expand the range of services offered, increase turnover, organize and hire appropriately qualified workforce. Supervise tradesman both at Southern Controls workshop and on site, customer liaison, budgeting, project costing and quality control etc.
Provide service and technical support for Fisher Controls distributed products, mainly Fisher control valves, regulators, pressure relief valves and field instrumentation, mass flow meters. Diagnose, strip and overhaul control valves and pressure relief valves. Test and certify as per industry standards.
