- Investigate product non-conformances and assist Design Engineers to identify root causes.
- Work with the R&D team to develop next generation high performance systems in order to resolve design or quality problems. Ability to use software diagnostic tools.
- Test, diagnose troubleshoot and observe electrical, electronic and mechanical components and systems using testing and measuring instruments. Correct wiring errors, calibrate DC drive boards, scale analog sensors, check PLC I/O points, measure harmonics and three phase power quality, and collect other test data for the equipment summary report. Replace or recondition components, disassemble defective units and repair or replace worn or suspect parts. Install, maintain and troubleshoot high, low and DC voltage power distribution systems, lighting and services for the manufacturing facility as required; AC/DC protective devices, transformers, grounding systems, emergency power back-up systems.
- Carry out preventative maintenance programs to ensure proper machine performance keeping required maintenance records.
- Perform internal and external training with customers and new employees for electro mechanical assembly, testing and observe safe practices at all times in the performance of work duties.
