 Preventive maintenance system
* Develop sand update preventive maintenance programs in order to ensure equipment availability and reliability
* Assign resources (material, spare parts, craftsmen) to all PM activities
* Ensure that job specification and procedures are updated and ready
* Schedule all PM activities based on equipment repair cycles, historical analysis and equipment condition
* Coordinate between maintenance and production sections in order to balance (leveling) work load and meet production requirements
* Release work orders for PM activities to work force (Mechanical, Electrical and Operation).
* Follow up work orders activities and revise feedback into MIS (Management Information System) PM (preventive maintenance) Module
* Monitoring the execution process and issuing Monthly PM Reports focusing on observed deviations and the control actions needed

 Turnaround (shutdown) maintenance Planning and scheduling for periodical, major and capital repairs
* Review the annual plant shutdowns according to targeted revenues, master production plan, and plant condition.
* Determine the shutdown scope and list up all maintenance work activities
* Assign resources (material, spare parts, craftsmen and special equipment or tools) to all activities
* Use project management software to schedule all activities, optimize resource's utilization and determine the maintenance workload, which needs to be outsourced.
* Develop the overall schedule (macro plan) the detailed schedule (micro plan) for all work packages using critical path analysis
* Lead and coordinate between concerned subsections to prepare all needed spare parts and materials and ensure enough lead-time for procurement.
* Track and control materials delivery and issue follow up reports
* Review bid documents for outsourced maintenance work and prepare necessary summary reports for management approval
* Follow up bidding procedures (bid document approval, tendering, contractor's offers evaluation and placing orders)
* Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors during mobilizations and work preparations
* Ensure that job specification, procedures and safety measures are updated and ready for all turnaround scope activities
* Release work orders for all activities to work force (Mechanical, Electrical, instrumentation and Operation, subcontractors).
* Monitoring activities progress in site and ensure turnaround work orders are executed in parallel with critical path activities then feedback into project management software
* Conduct daily progress meeting and update master schedule with the current situation
* Report the progress for monitoring and control
* Conduct variance analysis between baseline and actual data (schedule, man-hours, cost,….ect) for needed corrective actions and improvement purposes
* Monitor and follow up shutdown costs (materials, labor, subcontractors, equipments) and insure data entry in cost database system

 Equipment breakdowns
* Review and Supervise unscheduled equipment downtime data entry into the system
* Develop equipment condition parameters and failures database and revise its data in MIS.
* Perform failure statistical analysis to identify critical and repeated failures in equipments
* Perform root cause analysis for unscheduled down time and emergency shutdowns and recommends appropriate countermeasures.
* Issue equipment performance reports.

 Materials and spare parts procurement
* Coordinate with all department subsections budget preparation and issue final budget report
* Prepare the requisition plan for (spare parts, normal maintenance stock and tools) to ensure its availability at the planned shutdowns
* Maintain and optimize inventory system by keeping safety stocks and deciding the reorder level of spares
* Revise and administer all materials and spare parts procurement procedures (requisition, tendering, supplier invoice, offers evaluations, contract and order placing for the selected supplier, inspection in warehouse)
* Issue weekly report for materials and spare parts situation and expedition
* Issue monthly report for materials and spare parts stock, consumption and cost

 Department annual budget preparation
* Prepare annual shutdown plan for all department's plants
* Coordinate the preparation of the needed budget for (spare parts, materials, outsourcing and training) based on the actual previous year figures and the target production plan and revenue
