I am a highly motivated and determined person with practical skills and experience in bricklaying and concreting with a good knowledge of health and safety and first aid.
My personal strengths include determination, resourcefulness and the ability to work on my own initiative and demonstrate a high level of team spirit and contribution.
I am able to communicate effectively at all levels whilst exercising tact and diplomacy. I am also committed to expanding my knowledge at any given point.

Career:

I have been working as a qualified bricklayer for the last 4 and a half years in which time I have worked on numerous different projects with different companies which included building retaining walls conservatories extensions, houses, flats, digging foundations and laying concrete floors. For the last 12 months I have been working as part of a team of four bricklayers, building houses, bungalows and feature garden walls. Prior to becoming a bricklayer I was in the British Army and I served just under five years in the Royal Engineers. After completing my training in the Engineers I was given the role of maintaining power tools, carrying out construction tasks and preparing for operations overseas, which included for me a 6 month period in Iraq.
