Rigging-light, chain hoists to more heavy complex rigging and gantries. Operation of forklift, small and overhead cranes. Own hand and precision tools. Good physical strength and co-ordination with sufficient strength and stamina. Professional, honest, organized, dependable and punctual. Valid Driver's license. Available for travel and flexible shifts.

Relevant Experience
Millwright Supervision for Fluor Corporation,   Immediate supervisor Joe Perry (Construction Manager)  for the Wateree Operating Station for the SCE&G S02Compliance Project located in Eastover, SC.  My responsibilities included but were not limited to daily reporting and inspections on work in progress.  Coordinate problems and solutions between the site supplier, equipment Vendors and contractor.  Coordinate work with piping Superintendent and other area Superintendents. Ordering of tool crib and any necessary tools and supplies.  Oversee BOP and other maintenance of all rotating equipment on project. Review and oversee the storage, preventative maintenance and cleaning equipment prior to and during installation.  Work under supervision and direction of the Project Superintendent during the construction, testing and startup of S02compliance equipment.

Millwright Supervision for Fluor Corporation, Immediate supervisor Gary Dobbins  (Superintendent ) The Oak Grove Project a 1,600-megawatt, lignite-fired power plant in Robertson County. Much of the infrastructure is already in place from 30+ years prior. Much of the equipment is from the previous uncompleted project. My responsibilities include but are not limited to the installation of 27 coal pulverizers; some are B&W and some are Alstom. Installation of various fans and 2 preheaters. Maintaining and filing written reports and documentation, troubleshooting and quality control.
I am also a craft instructor for the NCCER Millwright Apprenticeship program on site.

Millwright Supervision  for The Shaw Group, Inc., Immediate supervisor Lee Dowdy (Construction Manager) Installation of two scrubbers and Installation of nitrogen oxide control equipment on three units at Chesterfield Power Station in Chester, Va. for Dominion Power. Chesterfield power Station is an eight-unit, coal and natural gas fired co-generating station in Va. with a capacity of more than 1,700 megawatts. This equipment will lower the station's nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide emissions. My primary responsibilities included but were not limited to maintaining and filing written reports and documentation. Workflow and scheduling, troubleshooting and quality control. Ordering necessary supplies and tools, setting up tool trailers and parts inventory controls. Working with engineers and construction manager on schedules and 3 week look ahead.

Millwright Supervision for The Shaw Group, Inc. phone, Immediate supervisor Leon Carpenter (Superintendent)  Installation of flue gas desulfurization equipment-commonly know as scrubbers for Duke Energy's Marshall Steam Station in NC. Marshall Steam Station is a four-unit, coal fired generating facility with a capacity of 2,090 megawatts. This equipment will lower the station's sulfur dioxide emissions by approximately 95 percent. Projected scheduled completion in 2006. My primary responsibility is overseeing the building and installation of the ball mill for this project. Other responsibilities included but were not limited to; training and instructing others on precision equipment and techniques in other areas of the project where needed. Maintaining and filing written reports and documentation. Workflow and scheduling, troubleshooting and quality control. Enforcement of codes and safety regulations. Close to 2 million safe man hours and ahead of schedule.

Millwright Supervision for S&B Construction phone,   Immediate Supervisor Lonnie Greene (Superintendent)  S&B and Bibb and Associates, Inc. executed this combined cycle project as a joint venture for the Hines Energy Complex Power Block III for Progress Energy near Bartow, FL. The project comprised the installation of two Siemens Westinghouse 501FD combustion turbines, two Nooter/Eriksen supplementary fired heat recovery steam generators with SCR and CO catalyst, a Siemens Westinghouse HE steam turbine, and dual fuel (natural gas and light liquid fuel). S&B had overall project management, purchasing, and construction responsibility. My primary responsibilities were the installation of various components on the combustion turbines and final stages of installation of the steam generators.

General Foreman for L-Con a division of Lexicon Inc. phone,   (Superintendent)
Installation of a new Flue Gas Scrubbing System, 2-140,000 #/hr CO boilers, Deareator, Boiler Feedwater System, Cat Feed Hydro-Treater, Gas Compressor, Make-up Water System, FCC Gas Duct System and many other modifications, expansions and additions to the operating Valero refinery in Ardmore, OK. My primary responsibilities were all aspects in the installation of the Gas Compressor and the Deareator and Make-Up Water System on the Scrubber. Other responsibilities included but were not limited to; interpreting blueprints and drawings and schedule assignments to personnel assigned to my crew. Working closely with company reps and quality control inspectors. Maintaining and filing written reports and documentation. Enforcement of codes and safety regulations. Completed project on time despite some unexpected changes in design on an operating facility.

Other Experience
I have over 20 years of experience working in the industrial construction industry, from shutdowns to rebuilds and expansion projects, including grassroot projects. This experience includes but is not limited to working in chemical plants, refineries, geothermal plants, paper, power industries, and various processing plants. Some of the larger companies I have worked for are, Fluor Daniel, KBR, SW&B, BE&K, Midsouth Maintenance and Southern Industrial. Some of the more notable projects have been the installations of WFGD wet flu gas desulfurization equipment and ball mills of coal fired power plants.  These installations were for Duke Power, Dominion Power, SCE&G and Progress Energy.   Another notable project was the installation of three Westinghouse Co-Gen units in Harquahala, AZ for The Shaw Group, Inc.

Prior to working in the industrial construction industry, I worked several years in Millwright Maintenance for Dayton Walther Corporation in Dayton, OH. This is where I received my millwright apprenticeship and training. Responsibilities for this position included but were not limited to, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting mechanical problems which include pumps, compressors, valves and various rotating equipment and isolating electrical problems, including switch gears, motors and wiring.
