We finished all new major restaurants, several Retail Shops that were in the Casino's.

Relevant Work Experience:

Ambienti USA, Inc.// Advance Manufacturing, Inc.
7-2007 to 7-2008
Superintendent–The Isle Casino, "Fit Out" gift shop and punch lists.
Pompano Beach, FL;
Interior Finish Superintendent
San Antonio, TX-Regency Hotel
I did the Fit Out finish interior work to Cabelo's Sporting Goods Store in Gonzales, LA. I was later sent to Pompano Beach, FL to do the Fit Out of the new gift shop area within the Isle Casino. I was also responsible for the final punch list to the interior of the Casino, installation of additional decor to various areas. My duties required ordering and installing special mill work for job sites. Some on the spot fabrications were usually required due to mis-measured and produced mill work from the plant. Responsible for my crews scheduling and allocating time for work around other crafts. When job was finished I was sent to San Antonio, TX to do the interior finish work to the new Convention Center/Hyatt Hotel in the Alamo area. My job as Superintendent over the Hotel area at the new Convention Center. All of this was Interior Finish and Fit Out work. The job was delayed due to Sub Contractor's suits against Builder. My wife and I returned to MS due to her illness.
Reason for leaving: No work on Gulf Coast MS

Lantz Construction, Inc.
Broadway, VA
Finish & Interior Superintendent
4-2007 to 7-2007
Did all interior finish mill work converting a historic site into multimillion dollar condos in the Staunton VA area. We had to work in a challenged area since the walls and floors were over 100 years old jail hospital. The work was difficult but also a real pleasure to see the conversion in progress. The major problem there was the contamination of lead in the work areas. Several people became ill from the lead. We were only working a 40 hour work week. There was too much down time and job was moving slowly. At that time, I also had my parents were ill on the MS Gulf Coast.
Reason for leaving: My wife and I needed to return to MS Gulf Coast due to parents illness.

Latta Construction, Inc. Biloxi, MS
Interior Finish Superintendent --MGM Beau Rivage Hotel/ Casino & Shops renovations
Glenn Rieder, Inc.
District Superintendent –Beau Rivage Casino; Imperial Palace Casino and Island View Casino
3-2006 to 4-17-2007
My job as Superintendent didn't mean I just ran the job, I also did the work with my tools along with the crews. Installation of all architecturally designed finished trim, installations of all room fixtures, vanities and the mill work. I had to do on the spot construction on various projects. I worked on a schedule with the MGM people who owned Beau Rivage and Yates Construction General Superintendent. I personally worked directly with them to complete the scheduled repairs for the re-openings. I managed to get the Hotel opened 3 weeks early saving Glenn Rieder, Inc. additional costs. After the Hotel was finished Glenn Rieder, Inc. offered me the job as District Superintendent. All work from then on consisted of ordering materials; assess the work crews and placement of employees at several sites at once. I scheduled work to renovate 3 Casinos, Casino Bar/Special Gambling areas and several Retail Shops in conjunction with Roy Anderson, Inc. and Yates Construction, Inc. General Superintendents. We did all interior mill work in several new Restaurants that were built within the Casinos. Restaurants were in the process of being opened and new work was begun as needed. All these jobs required constant attention, checking the blueprints, change orders and doing the layouts for the work to be done. All work schedules were set up with the cooperation of the General Contractors, sub contractors and all other skilled crafts. Everything had to be done on a schedule so we were not in each others way. We would meet periodically and I would give them assessments of how long our part of construction would take. I reported to the rep of the home office of Glenn Rieder on a daily basis. All of these jobs were "high end" and very costly. No room for any errors, since the Casinos consider loss of time is their loss of revenue. My work as a District Superintendent was for a first class Architectural Company which prided themselves in good work and design to be fulfilled by all involved, which meant they relied on me to make on the spot decisions and do changes if needed so all work would be completed in a timely manner. Since these jobs were quiet costly and I had to make sure materials were handled with care and are properly installed. Change orders happened on a daily basis.
Reason for leaving: After our loss of home in Katrina, we needed some time for change since the strain has been very hard on wife and I. We just needed to leave MS Gulf Coast area for awhile.

We were consistently updating every part of the Plant that Nissan and Daifuku would request until final work was completed. All work performed had to be precise and quick, time shut down had to be minimal. Nissan always maintained that their plant had to be operational 24/7 and nothing less. On a regular basis on the second time there I did do field work as their Forklift operator, also OSHA certified job.
