Special Projects:
Valero Oil Refinery(6 months)- Worked close with the inspections (EMPAC) group to create new vessel drawings representing the data on the U-1 sheets for pressure vessels and coded equipment.
FMC Biopolymer (1 year+) - Worked as a designer close with the process engineers/operators putting together project packages for construction bids. I managed all work done on my jobs and other employees projects during shutdown. All jobs were completed on time and in a safe manner.

Project Designer
Experience included updating/creating designs and drawings via AutoCAD, performing field measurements for design piping takeoffs, assisting in the design, review and planning of engineering projects and supervising all contract work on my jobs to ensure quality control. I was the lone designer for four engineers, (mechanical, process, instrumentation, and maintenance), and managed one CAD operator to ensure HAZOP P&IDs and various jobs were completed on time.
Special Projects:
Standards & drawing file system cleanup- Set up a new system with standards gathered from previous employments and incorporated them into existing drawings. I organized a plan for 13,000 drawings to be put in a more user friendly /industrial standardized system. Both jobs were successful and completed on time.
AT-1 Tank redesign/cleanup- This acid tank needed to be redesigned due to safety and environmental issues. On this project, the area was designed to be more ergonomic for the operators, and more corrosive resistant to ensure long life to prevent environmental violations.
