Summary of Experience:
Although being a diploma holder in chemical engineering, I have been working in instrumentation field since last 09 years. Preparation and review of ITP's for instrument & electrical installation as per PMT standards. Inspection of field instruments, cable trays, impulse line tubing, making punch list and ensure the subcontractors workmanship. Preparation of inspection reports, raise RFI's, coordination with instrument & electrical department for completion of work. Detail drawing works, update drawing as built.

Position: Electrical & Instrument QA/QC Inspector.
Project: DHT (Aramco refinery, Yanbu, KSA)
Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare & review ITP's for instrument & electrical installation, prepare daily surveillance & inspection reports, raise RFI's. Review material requisition packages to ensure compliance with project requirement. Conduct material inspection, review of construction related documents. Inspection of complete instrument installation as per project specification & drawing. Inspection of instruments impulse line test. Inspection installation of fire alarms panels, marshalling cabinets, instrument JB. Inspection of various instruments bench calibration, control valve stroke test, valve seat leakage test, cable insulation check. Checking all handover documents for project packages as per PMT requirement.
Project: PDH, (Natpet, Yanbu, KSA )
Duties & Responsibilities: Carry out surveillance for ongoing construction activities. QC inspection for electrical & instrumentation activities. Raise RFI's & coordinate with PMT representative for site construction inspection activities. Review/study all inspection test plan, quality control procedures as per project specification. Carryout internal inspection / inspection with client for construction activities i.e. E&I perforated / ladder cable tray, conduits, instrument impulse tubing test, witness of bench calibration of various types of instruments like FT, LT, TT, PT, DPT, Flow meters etc. Preparation of punch list as per PMT and ensure the punch listed items are cleared. Reviewing the all handover project documents and ensure that the project drawings, red marks, changes has been incorporated in as built. Inspection for meggering of power cable, control cable. Inspection of received materials, making inspection report and preparation of all material documentation. Prepare NCR (Non-compliance report) & DR (Discrepancy report ).
Project: Jubail Chevron Philips (JCP), Aljubail, KSA.
Duties & Responsibilities: Surveillance & inspection of various instruments normal and foundation fieldbus segment system as per approved ITP/QCP standards and project specific drawings. Conducting material inspection, prepare quality control check sheets for each equipment unit installed including circuit breakers, switch boards and panel boards and ensure that they confirm to the required code specification. Inspection installation of electrical and instrumentation cable trays, conduits, power / control / instrument cables, various types of instruments with stanchion and online instruments, marshalling, DCS, ESD system cabinets and instrument junction boxes. Testing witness of various types of instruments bench calibration, control valve stroke check, impulse line (instrument process) and pneumatic (air header) process line testing, valve seat leakage testing, pressure relieving devices (PRD'S) leak testing. Coordinate with the site engineers and representatives to ensure good quality of work and good workmanship. Preparation of punch items and coordination for clearing of punch listed items. Making of NCR (Non-compliance report) and DR (Discrepancy report). Inspection for loop folder packages for instruments and release for loop check. Ensure sub-contractor performing their jobs as per the specification as well as quality plan.

Attending technicians' queries and problems for corrective action and satisfactory completion of work. Field calibration of various instruments and responsible for loop checking. Pre-inspection installation for cable trays, different types of instruments, power, control and instrument cable, distribution boxes etc. Inspection for instrument system as per inspection and test plan, national electrical code, project specification. Maintain records of inspections, reports. Responsible for getting done the punch listed items, redline mark up ILD's. Coordination with field supervisors and engineers for smooth running and progress.
