Job Description:
1. Review and familiarize with project AFC/shop drawing, isometric drawing, NDT drawing, ITP, work instruction and project specification relating to the project assigned.
2. Verify approved WPS, welders, welding operators and tackers intended for the project have properly been qualified and are displayed at job site.
3. Perform field inspections of fitting and welding in accordance with project specifications and scope of work as noted within ITP.
4. Carry out patrol inspection to monitor work in progression to ensure compliance with project/specification requirements.
5. Maintain records of all relevant inspection activities and outstanding works.
6. Liaise with client representative ensuring product conformity and stage release for each activity.
7. Confirm all above by effective audit and surveillance.
8. Monitor welder qualification test.
