OBJECTIVE

1. 5 years overseas work experience.
2. Hands on mechanic experience and overall knowledge of maintenance and repairs, in all aspects, to construction heavy equipment, vehicles and tools.
3. Management experience of a motor pool (shop) and crew in a remote location. Direct support for all construction projects.
4. Buying and selling of heavy equipment, vehicles, tools and replacement parts worldwide with various vendors. (Mainly Singapore, Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Dubai, Italy, and US)
5. Active military runway repair experience.
6. Construction, heavy equipment, vehicle, personal and hazmat safety experience under OSHA and EM385 Navy standards.
7. Equipment operating skills.
8. Computer literate

Duties and Responsibilities:
Performed various positions on the following projects;

4. Contract No. N62742-06-C-1323 – DG5

Primary Position: Motor Pool Manager

Performing and overseeing all maintenance and repairs to an average of 160 pieces of heavy equipment and vehicles with a crew of 6 mechanics. Equipment brands consist of Manitowoc, Tadano, CAT, Komatsu, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Toyota, Honda, Grove, Yanmar, Deutz, Mcwell, Bobcat, Ingersol, Hino, Samsung, Star Breaker, Airman, Atlas Copco, John deere and various other brands. Procuring and sourcing of all shop supplies, service and replacement parts. Monitoring inventory on a daily basis to keep basic maintenance and repair parts on hand at all times for immediate needs in a remote location. Accessing and monitoring equipment and vehicle deterioration for replacement and keeping a monthly service schedule. Keeping records of all inventory, purchases, maintenance, repairs, timesheets, safety training, daily safety toolbox talks, daily reports and monthly reports. Traveling to various locations to check and purchase equipment and vehicles needed for different projects.

Secondary Positions: Project Superintendent/ Project Supervisor

Runway grooving and grinding project – Main responsibility was to oversee all water blasting operations (rubber and paint removal using a 36K PSI UHP pump) and temporary and permanent paint markings for the runway. Later in the project took over and supervised all grooving and grinding operations as well. Further into the project took over as acting project superintendent and oversaw all aspects of the project. (Tower communications, FOD control, spall repair, crack repair, rubber and paint removal, paint application with reflective beads, joint sealant replacement, grooving and grinding). Runway is 2.2 miles long and was active during all repairs.

Taxiway and Parking apron repair project – Planned and managed a separate project where we did spall repairs, crack repairs and some joint sealant replacement to the taxiways and airplane parking aprons. This was on the same airfield and it remained active during all repairs.

PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT AND QUALIFICATIONS

Before working overseas I have had several different jobs within the automotive industry. I have worked in several different parts houses full time and part time during college. I have worked in some repair shops full time and part time as well. My father was a Journeyman Auto Technician for 30 years. Myself I do not have much formal training but have been around it my whole life and have gained my experience through my father. My father and I drag raced for many years and I do have some high performance background knowledge.
