* Prepared, check or review works pack & GOC (Guidance On Certification) to mechanical, piping, structure or project executions plant is a process that has been developed as a result of Engineering Technical Integrity into the design, drawings, planning, certification, construction, commissioning, maintenance and operational activities of a facility

* Review AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection Service) specification & enforce implementation in Batam, Conduct and Verify site surveillance to ensure AQIS
preparation requirement is carried out by contractor if required specification.
* Consolidate all surveillance finding and short out for problem resolution and rectification through Project Management.
* Final inspection shipment module as per AQIS (Australian Quarantine & Inspection
Service) procedure to conduct Final Pre-shipment inspection of shipped to ensure fitness to AQIS requirement if required project specification.
* Before Welding Inspection:
- Check & marking Weld number, Welder ID number (stamp number) from Isometric drawing and structure drawing, Welder ID number (stamp number) from welder register, Ensure dimensional check (Circumference, ovality, Straightness, Local Dent, end of bevels, end perpendicularity and Length) of steel structure shall be conform to AWS D1.1
(Structural welding code), Piping shall be conform to ANSI/ASME B31.3 & ASME II
the following tolerance which are mentioned in client's specification, and Pipeline shall be conform to ASME B31.8 & DNV OS-F101
- Pipe spools fit up and Installation: Check acceptable fit up & dimensional tolerance,
Check pipe run alignments.
- Steel Structures fit up and Installation: Check all dimensions on new structure for installation existing structure, Check acceptable fit up & dimensional tolerance.
- Check storage (oven) and check consumables material electrode as per wps used.
- Check Preheat according to WPS.
* During Welding Inspection:
- Check the weather condition and provide the protection in around area welding, check the welding position as per wps used and correct the welder identification
- Check the welding parameters used (Voltage, current, and travel speed as per wps to avoid metallurgical effect on the weld metals.
- Monitoring the preheat maintenance by looking at minimum temperature as per wps used
- Check the consumables condition during welded, check storage and stop welding if the welder using different electrode than recommended by wps or issue the NCR
- Check the inter pass temperature the recommended by wps, Check the inter run cleaning and check for method of cleaning whether by brushing or grinding and the type of tools involve during cleaning.
- Perform visual inspection on the root to ensure the welder produce a sound root and adequate penetration.
- Check the removal condition allowed for distortion control (removal jig and fixture)
- Check safety during welding, Maintain the logbook daily of welding record.
- Monitoring welding habitat (if requirement at offshore installation of welding procedure)
* After Completed Welding Inspection:
- All weld 100% visual inspection, Acceptable reinforcement, Undercutting within tolerance to piping according to with standard ASME Sec. IX, ASME B31.3, Project and
Client Specification and to Structure according with approved WPS, standard AWS D1.1 (
Non Tubular Sec.8.15.1 & Tubular Sec.10.17.1 ) Project and Client Specification
- Weld Traceability Record: Record weld and welder ID (number), Record consumable symbol,
NDT record, Hydro test record, and PWHT record.
- NDT (where required): Check NDT personnel qualification, Request NDT, 100% NDT of tie-
in points/butts with activity by NDT Company, Interpretation film Radiography, and NDT
report.
* In the event of repair:
- Report to the higher authorities regarding the extent and severity of the repair,
Liaise with Engineer for the repair procedure
- Marking or Monitoring of defective are for repair, Carry out the repair of welding as per procedure and check, Verify and Monitoring repeat all activities or duties before, during, and after welding
- Witness and Monitoring the NDT if any, Collect the data and result and submit to higher authorities
* Pressure Testing:
- Review pressure testing is with submit draft test pack for project and client acceptance, prepare test packs for pressure testing, prepare piping for testing as per approved test packs by submitted NDE clearance, prepare piping test clearance record.
- Review, Verify, Monitoring, Inspection and Witness Procedure and Pressure Testing
(Hydro Test, Pneumatic Test), Flushing, Air-drying, Chemical Cleaning Bolt Torque (
Flanges Management), Punch list & Line reinstatement.
- Witness Pressure test piping system with activity by vendor according to with standard
ANSI B31.3 (354.4.2), project and client specification (Pressure Testing Procedure)
- Monitoring and review daily hydro test report.
* Surface Protection (Painting, Coating & Insulation):
- Verify, Monitoring, Inspection surface treatment that is surface preparation painting repair and touch up by paint, according to standard, Project & Client Specification
(Painting, Coating and Insulation), review and monitoring daily coating and painting report.
- Compile all painting report and ensure that all QC documentation are signed off for mechanical certificate to certification documents
- Visually inspect, verify, inspection and monitoring that all surface performed to ensure that proper conditions necessary for painting exist
