Business Planning Consultant (2002 – 2008)
Project Manager and Business Continuity Planner: Created a business continuity methodology and common process, procedures and templates for all levels of the organization for internal and external clients, globally.
* Business Continuity Subject Matter Expert for the Application Services Division's Business Continuity Program. Collaborated with other EDS division business continuity leaders to create common and reusable process, procedures, and templates at the corporate level. Maintained Business Continuity web sites.
* Programme Leader for EDS's world-wide Application Services Division. Created Business Continuity Plans for over 80 non-data center locations. The budget was over $9.5 million.
* Created "How-to" documents, training materials, setup and led meetings that included but were not limited to training personnel on how to complete and exercise Business Continuity Plans multiple times each month for ten years.
* Project Leader for Fortune 500 clients in the telecommunications and web hosting arenas, responsible for creating and updating business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Subject Matter Expert for Configuration Management involved in investigating and proposing an automated system. * Led United States geography of Application Services Division: Created Business Continuity Plans for over 36 non-data center locations. The budget was over $3.25 million:
o Created common and reusable process, procedures, and templates for the Application Services Division's Business Continuity Program.
* Created and maintained a corporate emergency communication process, training documentation and the corporate emergency communication web site, and trained leadership on the process to implement the corporate emergency communication process. Participated in corporate exercises and real life disaster calls.
* Led a consolidation of two work-order systems into one common corporate system and managed Y2K projects for manufacturing organizations. Budget for each project was approximately $1 million. Responsibilities included:
o Completed project management activities like identifying all programs and jobs to convert, creating and maintaining an overall project plan, workbook, establishing project standards and change control procedures, developed and implemented user acceptance planning and signoff documentation, communicated project status to clients and support teams in three states and four cities, etc.
o Created training materials and trained inexperienced team members on job control language.
