Summary of Qualifications
32 years experience as HD Mechanic and five years driving experience as an Owner Operator in flat bed operation. Class A CDL with Hazmat, Doubles and Triples, and Tanker endorsements. Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills in all fields of maintenance and repairs. Able to work well with or without supervision and able to supervise others. Good fabrication and layout skills.

Hired to develop maintenance and repair program for the companies on and off road truck/trailer fleet with field support and required for remote construction. Job sites were for airport reconstruction and paving operations in remote communities thru out Alaska, Gtmo Naval base Cuba, and Wake Island in the mid Pacific Naval site.

Sept 1998 - May 2003 Ridge Runner Trucking Billings, Montana Owner Operator
Owner Operator with own Authority of flat bed operation within the 48 states. During which I logged over one million accident free miles while specializing in oversize structural steel with on time deliveries.

Jan 1980 - Sept 1998 Contract Services Anchorage, Alaska Owner/Mechanic
Started a full service HD Truck and Trailer repair facility with mobile units. Developed service contracts with Alaska companies such as Lynden Transport, Alaska West, Suburban Propane, and many owner operators in the trucking industry. Built it up to a ten employee company.

Sept 1978 - Jan 1980 McClure Leasing Anchorage, Alaska Mechanic
Provided complete service and maintenance for a fleet of ten trucks leased to Lynden Transport Anchorage, Alaska terminal

Nov 1975 - Sept 1976 General Parts and Service Anchorage, Alaska Mechanic
Front line mechanic for a commercial full service and repair shop for HD trucks and trailers. Completed full collision restoration repairs. Performed diesel engine, clutch and gear, suspension, electrical work, air & hydraulic systems

March 1975 - Nov 1976 Kenworth Alaska Anchorage, Alaska Mechanic
Worked as a line mechanic for a full service and repair shop for HD trucks and trailers. Performed Cummins motors repairs, electrical repairs, suspension work, gear, and wreck repair.

March 1970 - March 1975 Northwest Peterbuilt Billings, Montana Mechanic
Worked as a HD truck and trailer mechanic for a full service and repair dealership. Was one of three floating mechanics that filled in for any and all repairs that where needed including complete wrecks and frame straightening, also completed new delivery prep.

Certifications Class A CDL with doubles and triples, Hazmat, and tanker endorsements. NSTC Training Card, TWIC Card, First aid and CPR, and Beartooth safety classes.
