Primary responsibilities:
- Provides guidance on pre-contract contractual matters including procurement and contracting strategy and tactics.
- Prepares Invitation to Tender, manages the tender evaluation process including interviews with potential contractors, and directs the award of EPC contracts and Service Agreements.
- Provides contractual and commercial guidance for developing bid package for tendering, and Recommends appropriate amendments to all sections of formal bid packages to ensure clarity or requirements from Legal, Commercial and Technical view point.
- Reviews the contractors' correspondences to determine compliance with the relevant contract Terms and Conditions.
- Reviews and approves in coordination with the project staff the contractor's payment certificates.
- Evaluates and prepares response to and defense versus contractors' claims.
- Monitors, evaluates and prepares fully supported estimates and claims for alternations / variations to the Contract Scope and substantiates/manages the same with Client for final settlement.
- Provides Contact Administration support to operations of short and long term Contracts.

SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR (PROJECT CONTROLS GROUP)
Primary responsibilities:
- Provides Contact Administration support to operations of short and long term Contract and Subcontract Agreements.
- Examines the Prime Contract Documents (Terms and Conditions, requisitions, specifications, Bill of Quantities, original and approved IFC drawings, etc.) to detect areas of possible contention, claims, variation orders, extra work, etc. that affect the final value of the Contract.
- Advises the Project Management on contractual matters and manages the contractual correspondences in accordance with the Prime Contract Terms and Conditions, specifications and drawings including construction change orders.
- Discusses and negotiates with the Client the contractual matters related to Payment Certificates and claims (measurement of quantities, initial rates, new rates, etc.).
- Manages the contractual commitments and performance of the work according to the Client's instructions, Specifications and Drawings, and the Terms and Conditions of the Contract, including construction Change Orders.
- Reviews the project correspondences to determine compliance with Contract Terms and Conditions, and Specifications, to advise the Project Management of possible deviations.
- Evaluates accuracy of quantities in the Bills of Quantity in preparation to the decision to convert Contract into a lump-sum type as stipulated in the Contract Terms and Conditions.
- Provides quantity take-off to facilitate the work of other departments such as Planning, Cost Control, Procurement, etc.
- Prepares fully documented monthly payment application in compliance with Contract's Terms and Conditions.
- Provides quantities achieved for monthly productivity report, and coordinates among site team, Cost Control, and planning departments to verify the monthly reports.
- Reviews the project insurance requirements and extent of cover, and ensures these requirements are complied with including insurance provided by Subcontractor.
- Provides high quality advice on all pre-contract contractual matters including procurement and contracting strategy and tactics.
