I apprenticed as a carpenter from 1972-1976 and apprenticed as an electrician from 1978-1980. As a result of working in these fields I have gained knowledge in surveying with a builders level, transit and theatolite. I have also gained a very good knowledge of reading and drafting blueprints. I also have extensive knowledge of Turbocad V6 and feel I could adapt to Autocad as well.
I have a highschool diploma and one year in college. This goes along with the experience I have gained by hands on work with building layout, dirt work, concrete forming, pouring, wood and metal framing, structural steel erection, drywall hanging, taping and texturing, painting, finish work including wood trim, hanging doors, installing windows, construction and installation of cabinets and countertops.
In addition I have experience with heavy equipment. I have owned a Case backhoe for the last 5 years and operated motorgraders, track hoes and dozers. I have also done light mechanical work on this equipment.
I have experience with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Works, Lotus 123, Turbocad V6 and Internet research.
I have owned and operated a residential construction company for the last 9 years in Arizona. I have also run crews on commercial and industrial job sights of up to 50 men including foreman.
I currently hold a residential general contractors license and a residential electrical license in the state of Arizona, USA.
I would consider relocation for the right incentives.
