Procurement Engineer
Major Duties l Involved in all stages from tendering to completion of all projects;
- Interacting with the estimation department, getting & evaluating;
quotations from approved vendors, suppliers & sub-contractors during the tender stage;
- Preparing submittals of all specified materials to be used for the projects for the Client/Consultant approval;
- Negotiation for rates, delivery time, payment terms and other contractual obligations;
- Liaising with vendors/sub-contractors and finalizing of contract agreements as per the project requirements;
- Preparing of Purchase Orders/Sub-contract Agreements/Work Orders/ Hiring Orders and follow-up for acceptance, timely delivery of materials & services as per project scheduled program;
- Co-ordinate with various Project Managers/Project In-charges for their advance schedule for materials/subcontractors/services until handing over of the projects;
- Arranging heavy equipments and other construction machinery on hire whenever required for the projects;
- Keep abreast of all innovations/price fluctuations in the market with an eye to cut cost;
- Up-gradation of vendors/sub-contractors database based on their performance, services, compliance with company's policies & requirements;
