More than four years structural designing experience in major highway projects in the UAE and in designing of multi-storeyed buildings. Parsons' De Leuw Cather Overseas Limited represents the Parsons' Transportation Group in Dubai, a global business unit of Parsons Corporation, Washington DC., one of the world's largest highway consultants undertaking design of all highway related structures all over the world. Parsons was founded in 1944 and has over 9000 employees and operates in more than 40 countries. The main clients for the Dubai office include the Dubai Municipality and property developers like Nakheel Group & EMMAR.
Working as Structural Design Engineer for the Dubai office, the main responsibilities include the analysis, design and estimation of bridges, Underpass, Culverts, Tunnels, Pedestrian-bridges, retaining walls and other highway related structures. Have extensive knowledge of AASHTO LFD & LRFD, ACI Manual, British and Indian design codes and pre-stressed concrete design. Also deal with the Quality Assurance Procedures, preparation of preliminary sketches for the drafting, documentation and correspondence with the Government Department and the site offices.
