CAMP MANAGEMENT POSITIONS HELD
1983 AT&T INTERNATIONAL, INC., Basking Ridge, NJ
Compound Manager at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia administrative and housing facility. Managed maintenance of all housing, administration building, minor construction, and utility systems. Initiated and coordinated supply needs with both in-country Saudi and American vendors. Designed and implemented housing assignment/tracking system, leased vacant housing units to outside corporations, and upgraded recreation facilities. Oversaw food service contractor.
1981 - 1982 PARSONS CORPORATION, Pasadena, CA
Field Project Manager at Yanbu, Saudi Arabia 3,300-person construction labor camp. Oversaw both catering and operations and maintenance subcontractors' activities at dining halls, recreation buildings, swimming pools, cold storage facilities, and warehouses. For subcontractor's warehouse operations, controlled inventory and usage to ensure unused items were transferred to avoid duplicate purchasing.
COMBUSTION ENGINEERING CORPORATION, Stamford, CT
1979 - 1980 Camp Operations Manager at an Indonesia fertilizer plant construction project. Mobilized and managed family housing and three single status labor camps. Assisted in negotiating contracts with subcontractors and monitoring subsequent compliance. Oversaw operations of utility systems and regularly traveled out of country for procurement.

Camp Manager at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska self-contained housing and camp facilities. Managed housing assignments. Formulated and implemented management system resulting in thousands of dollars in annual savings in general operations and rental costs. Upgraded recreation programs and monitored catering subcontractor for quality and productivity at both staff and labor camps.

1971 - 1974 Assistant Editor of U.S. Army daily newspaper in on Kwajalein Atoll. Also served as radio announcer on Armed Forces Radio Station prior to newspaper position.
