CAREER SUMMARY:
Thirteen years of total experience in Project Engineering, Tendering, Cost Control, Material Procurement, Execution and Supervision of heavy civil and marine construction of seawater power and desalination plants and wharfs/jetties/local fuel oil and lng terminals.
Broad experience in estimation of quantities, analysis and design of structures, preparation of reinforcement bar bending schedules and shop drawings conforming to the contractual specifications and standards. Well knowledge of document transmittals and design submittals, document control, preparation of construction method statements and project master schedule using Primavera and Microsoft Project Planners. Well familiar with most International Standards with in-depth knowledge of their applications to heavy industries and construction. Well aware of project construction materials and procurement. Tendering: Job includes review of client's tender specifications including tender drawings, data sheets, sketches, etc. Prepare quantitative analysis, labor and equipment hours, consumables and miscellaneous items. Obtain material and equipment pricing for direct cost. Submit tender documents: prepare necessary drawings and sketches in AutoCAD, technical details, brochures, schedules, etc.
Material Procurement: Job includes review of client's specifications and design drawings, request quotations from various local and overseas manufacturers / suppliers. Review received quotations, prepare comparative statements, and respond to clarifications and comments, prepare technical and commercial evaluations for material approval, selection of final manufacturers / suppliers and prepare draft letter of intent, Order correspondences for commercial department.
Execution and Supervision: Job includes the responsibilities of preparing production schedules, supervise and co-ordinate with foremen, technicians and labors, calibration of equipments, batch plant scales, etc., QA/QC material testing. Preparation and submission of all as-built drawings, quality control, pre-commissioning / commissioning documentation for the issuance of provisional and final acceptance certificates.

Scope of Work:
Complete design and erection/construction of a fuel oil unloading terminal (jetty) to accommodate oil-carrying vessels of between 20,000 dwt, 40,000 dwt and 100,000 dwt. The marine terminal constructed on tubular steel piles comprising of an unloading platform with product handling, speed of approach and fire fighting equipment, two berthing and four mooring dolphins with all accessories, structural steel catwalks, platform for control building and control building, mooring for support vessels and an approach way with pipe-work constructed as a rock armored causeway and a piled trestle. Geotechnical investigation, environmental impact study, current metering, marine studies and all relevant electro-mechanical work included. Concrete paving, roads, parking areas and security fencing.
Duties:
Performed the duties of a project engineer and design coordinator. Responsible for preparation, submittal and approval of design reports, design and shop drawings, construction method statements, master time schedule, look ahead programs and project progress updates.
