1. This Antenna is given by Ministry of external affairs India to MBC Mauritius. 7.2m dia. TV receive only antenna pointed to Thaicom satellite located at Mauritius broadcasting corporation. Challenges were to calculate precise wind pressure distribution on antenna reflector, Seismic, structural analysis & design of antenna structure & foundation to withstand 250 kmph survival wind speed. Followed in-house fabrication as well as monitored manufacturing at subcontractor's sites to get done the work as per design specifications. Deputed to Mauritius to carryout preliminary site survey, local contractors survey, soil investigation, to workout cost rate estimation for both civil & installation work based on local rates. North marking & determining various Satellites look angles for AZ-EL coverage. Order value worth Rs. 11.5 millions.

2. The 11m antenna system for ISRO telemetry tracking and network applications was designed and developed with finite element analysis, systems has been installed by ECIL at Lucknow and Biak-Indonasia stations. The complete 11m Reflector is indigenously designed with 48 number of profile panels to meet the 0.75mm surface accuracy under the wind flow of 60kmph. The back-up truss structure is designed to meet the reflector fundamental frequency of above 10Hz. The mount is designed with dual drive to steer reflector for 0-90 deg rotation on elevation and „b 360 deg rotations on azimuth axes. The structure is designed to survive against 200kmph wind. Prepared Technical proposal for 11m full motion antennas for ISTRAC-ISRO Bangalore. Worked out wind pressure distribution on reflector for various wind speeds & wind AZ-EL angles. Given successful technical presentation at ISTRAC-Bangalore to bag order for 3Nos. -11m full motion antenna. Order value worth Rs. 41.25 millions.

3. Design & Analysis of 9.3m Earth station Antenna using FEA software, installed at DDK Bangalore, Guwahati, Todapur-Delhi. Designed special type of column-raft foundation to overcome water stagnation at Guwahati site in India. Order value worth Rs. 25.5 millions.

4. Various components of 11m antenna are modeled in PATRAN, meshed in HYPERMESH & Analysed in NASTRAN, FEA software. Calculated wind pressure distribution for various angles of attack, Stiffness & natural frequency analysis is carried out. Base extension & foundation is designed for 11m TTCR antenna for ISTRAC-ISRO, SATNAV.

5. Wind force analysis, Seismic analysis, Finite Element Analysis & Design of 13.5m & 18m antennas along with the foundation design is carriedout. Shell elements are used for analysis in NASTRAN.

6. AutoCAD Drawings & STAAD- Pro Analysis & design for Roof Top Antenna & Vehicle mount Antenna. Design and analysis of 7.2m TV Receive/Transmit Antenna including foundation design to withstand 300 kmph survival wind for MTML Mauritius. Worth Rs. 13.5 millions.

7. Carried out Site survey, Estimation, preparation of rate abstracts & Design-Analysis of 60m, 50m 30m RCC, trestle towers & allied 3 storied fully A/C buildings for vessel traffic system, in Port Radar Project for vessel traffic at Gulf of Kuchchh for Dept. of lighthouses & lightships, using STAAD-Pro & SAP-2000.

8. Analysis of 1.8m FALCON Antenna is completed successfully in PATRAN- NASTRAN FEA software. It is doubly curved antenna made up of FRP composite material.

9. Design & analysis of 11m-antenna system for Master Control Facility (MCF)-ISRO at Bhopal. Antenna System is modeled in Patran & analysed in Nastran. Drawings were prepared in AutoCAD. Foundation Anchor bolts, template, RCC tower & columns were designed for mounting antenna on RCC tower using STAAD-Pro & SAP-2000.

10. Modeled & analysed Antenna Platform unit for LCA-MMR for ADA Bangalore, in PATRAN, Hypermesh & NASTRAN FEA software.

12. Designed & analysed Gantry Girder with column support for lifting reflector panel assembly in PATRAN, Ansys & NASTRAN FEA software¡¦s. Carried out drawings & supervision.

13. Prepared techno-commercial Proposal for global tender of port radar project in collaboration with GEM-Electronica-Italy, Lock Heed Martin-New York. The project consists of providing radars mounted on light houses for vessel traffic in Gulf of Kutchh Gujarat for DGLL

14. 32m Deep Space Network Antenna is under design and development stage to meet the chandrayaan mission in 2007 by India. The reflector with 180 numbers of panels is framed as 32m in diameter, the driving mechanism is developed with wheel & track mount to steer the reflector on elevation and azimuth axes. The reflector structure is analyzed to meet the surface accuracy of 0.3mm with 24 number of radial back-up trusses. The reflector panels are fabricated by stretch-form process and strengthened with radial and circumferential Z-sections to meet the profile accuracy of 0.3mm. The complete structure is designed to meet the fundamental frequency of above 2Hz on each axes. Worked on analysis & design of 32m dia. Wheel & Track Antenna for moon mission project/Deep space Network. This project involves reverse engineering, stiffness, structural & thermal analysis, RCC building design using STAAD-Pro & SAP-2000.

1. Experience in aerospace & automotive industry. Worked on MSC.SOFY software, pre & post processor with automation capabilities. Stress analysis is done on Dorsal antenna structure for Center for Airborne Systems (CABS) using composite material in PATRAN pre & post processor with NASTRAN solver. In this project the panels were made up of layered orthotropic composite material of 9 layers with different orientation angle. Thermal analysis for antenna reflector made up of aluminum sheet using radiation method.

1. Hands on experience on Hypermesh & NASTRAN for BIW meshing & analysis of automotive components. Experience in static, nonlinear, dynamic & response spectrum analysis. Done fatigue analysis for rear suspension support block using Strain-life method (£`-N), crack initiation method. The load history was generated for the loading cycle using Block Program utility in MSC.Fatigue. S-N fatigue analysis performed with maximum absolute principal stress. Stress-life method (S-N) for total life is calculated & results were plotted in log of life (repeats or cycles). Design changes were done iteratively for different thickness, different materials, also by changing the shape of the component at stress concentration.
