Inspection, Preservation and Issue of Materials, Custody of Materials and Inspection of Quality
Replenishment of Materials & Socks, Maximum & Minimum Level, Order Level, Standard Order Quantity, Danger Level, Safety Stock Level, Demand Forecasting
Store Accounting, various documents books and computer used in this connection. Ascertainment of Cost of Materials Received and Issued, Costing of Wastage, Spoilages, Damages and other Losses
Inventory Control
Duties
Receive the Material
Keep material in the right place and in the manner prescribed
Issue the stores on proper authorization and to proper person following the correct procedure and, of course, within least possible time,
Maintaining complete, up to date and correct records replenish the stocks & give advice to the management on day to day affairs of the stores department

Warehouse Activities:

Giving new stock no. to new materials.
Receiving material from suppliers.
Making inspection report.
Calling end user (requester) for material inspection.
After inspection checking stock code.
Rejected material return back to suppliers through procurement.
Making stock catalog for MRR in RC stock control department approval.
Making MRR after accepting materials from requester and stock approval from stock control dept.
Send MRR to RC stock control dept. for approval with authorized signature.
Locating newly received materials in proper location as per stock code.
Putting yellow tag card on each material for identification.
Issuing material through authorized signature.
In case of emergency issuing the material through SIV.
Tools assigning on individual name.
Making FMR for replenishment materials.
RC stock control department putting RC tag on assets through MRR assets.
Making surplus of damaged materials and assets.
Inventory.
