- Mechanical Design of Transformer 138 kV (750 BIL) up to 75 MVA based on the specification/ ANSI to meet the customer requirement.
- Mechanical Design of sealed type transformer based on ANSI.
- Study of Customer Specification, Preparation of Contract Drawing.
- Generation of internal Layout, lead routing, tank layout and detail fabrication drawings.
- Generation of Complete Bill of material through system.
- Giving advance information about long lead time Items, required for Transformer for procurement purpose to the Purchase Dept
- Calculations like Gas Space Calculation, tank brace / Stiffener calculations, Center of Gravity, Bracket Deflection calculation etc.
- Creation of dxf files, which are used to facilitate fabrication activities.
- Analysis of errors and documentation of proposed solutions, rule sheets to avoid the same error in future.
- Crosschecking of layouts /designs done by other engineers.

Projects Handled
Along with the routine activities, I have completed the following projects to reduce the repetitive activities/ simplify the complex method of design.
- Preparation of DXF files: A program is designed to reduce errors while making DXF files using VBA Programming which has inbuilt feature of self checking
- Detail drawing Automation: This project has been taken up to reduce the design cycle time for detail drawings. Base Drawing, CT assembly, Fan assembly etc.
- Purchase Requisition Automation: To generate the purchase requisition automatically.
