WORK EXPERIENCE

2000-2003 2A Construction Company, Founder.
2A specialized in building steel construction warehouses, roofs, office buildings and sport complexes- such as an arena for extreme skating. 2A over the course of 3 years built 25,000 square meter closed space and reached an annual revenue of $120,000. As one of the two founders of 2A I played a significant role in building a successful organization that has never failed in delivering quality solutions on time.

2A at its peak had 15 employees, as with any organization this small, the founders had to play many roles: identify projects that the company can undertake, prepare financial/technical proposals, management of the site and the design team, project management, customer relationship, getting regulatory approvals and managing the cash flow.

2000-2003 KuzeyGaz Ltd, Technical Manager.

KuzeyGaz was established to build and run an LPG distribution facility at the Trabzon port with an initial seed money of $500,000. I have worked with KuzeyGaz right from the very beginning as the technical manager of the organization. My achievements with this organization: project coordination (a French firm provided the design and 2A (my construction company) executed the project), imported some parts from France, worked with the government to get the legal authorizations, managed the relationships with the local media (both local TVs and the newspapers), participated in panels to convince the public on the safety of the facility, successfully completed the construction.
1998- 2000 Mia Trading & Construction Company, Founder
Exported various goods, like textile products, olive oil based products, carpets and kilims, everything needed to build tennis courts to EC countries as well as US, Russia and Turkmenistan. Provided samples, coordinated negotiations with prospective customers, identified suitable products that met the criteria of the customers, coordinated the shipment and the financial transaction.
Built steel construction sport facilities, warehouses, and office buildings.

1997-1998 Consultant to Bursa Municipality
Professor Ahmet Yildizci and I worked as consultants to the Bursa Municipality to evaluate new projects.
