Finance function: Overall Financial Management of the project handled through the following departments under my control and directly reporting to me:
* Finance department - preparation of bi-monthly analysed cost reports for presentation to the client. Comparison to budgets and preparation of variance analysis.
* Accounting department - responsible for the maintenance of the accounting records.
* Cost analysis department - responsible for analysing costs throughout the project on a zone by zone and level by level basis incorporating materials and labour costs.
* Cash department - responsible for all site cash expenditure
* Payroll department - responsible for preparation of payroll for 1,700 operatives on site.
* Stock control department - responsible for all on site stocks of raw materials.
* Capital asset department - responsible for all capital assets employed on the project including adequate insurance cover and regular maintenance thereof. Maintenance of asset registers.
