* More than eleven (11) years of working experience as a CAD Designer / Senior Draftsman preparing design and detail drawings mainly in the field of Structural / Mechanical engineering. Having working experience also in the field of Piping / Electrical & Telecoms engineering out of which the last 3 years of my experience is in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., mainly in the Oil & Gas Industry, Refinery & Petrochemical Plant. Worked in a multidiscipline environment updating all the project drawings as per site configurations & mark-up plans, and prepare as-built master drawings. I have worked also on other very complicated projects including low rise and high rise residential, commercial and office buildings of up to 32 stories, Structural Steel facilities/structures, Industrial & Commercial facilities, etc., producing Structural design drawings, as-built, detail and fabrication drawings for reinforced & pre-stress concrete, and steel structures.

July 7, 2002 – To Date National Petroleum Construction Company – Abu Dhabi, UAEPosition Held – Draftsman II* Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data; Develop and prepare design sketches; Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets; Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data; Supervise and train other technologists, technicians and drafters; * Prepare NDT drawings, Material traceability, Dimension control standard drawings & Welding Procedure Details using AutoCAD 2002 in the Quality Assurance & Quality Control Departments of National Petroleum Construction Company - Abu Dhabi, which is a pioneer in the field of onshore and offshore oil construction projects.* Projects involved: NPCC/OXY – Offshore Project – Occidental IDD El Shargi Field Development, Qatar – PH II Expansion Proj. - The project comprises detailed design of four eight slot wellhead platforms, 19 inter-platform flow lines, three control / umbilical and brown field tie into the PS1 Central Complex. Structures handled are – IS-Q08, IS-U10, IS-07B & IS-S09 Wellhead Platforms.ADCO – Onshore / Offshore Proj. – North East BAB (NEB) – Phase 1 Development (EPC) – Abu Dhabi, UAE. - The project involves detailed Engineering Design and construction of new ADCO processing facilities to handle oil, gas and water production from the fields. Involved in the preparation of NDTs, Material traceability & Dimension Control standard drawings for CPP & Clusters in Al Dabbiya and Rumaitha area.* Handled a major multi-million Saudi Aramco Project as QA/QC Draftsman. This project consists of 15 Jackets, 9 Decks, Living Quarters, Heavy equipments, Tanks, sub-sea pipelines and cables; Qatar – Occidental Petroleum – Wellhead Platforms.* Other projects handled: ADMA-OPCO - Zakum Crestal Gas Project; ALKHALIJ NORTHERN AREA FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT – TOTAL FINA ELF –QATAR The scope of this project includes Fabrication and erection of 2 Jackets, Decks, connecting bridges, Pipelines etc.

Sept. 30, 2001 – Apr. 23, 2002 Alliance Bechtel Linde Al Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAECad Draftsman* Project involved: Borouge Petrochemicals Project (Polyethylene, Polymers).* Working as Cad Draftsman As-builting multi-discipline drawings mainly, Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation drawings using MicroStation SE, and P&ID drawings using Intergraph PDS 2D Ver. 6.3.1 application (for P&ID layout) based on red line mark-ups from current petrochemical plant configurations (Polyethylene). Incorporation of all red line mark-ups, STQs (Standard Tech. Query) and DCNs (Design change notice) to finalize Master drawings.* Experienced also in the use of the DesignReview 3.07.00.32 software which aids in conducting 3D model design reviews and identifying flaws or preferences in designs. It is used for the extraction of data such as line numbers, valve tags, equipment data, and its locations, etc. It is used also for reviewing complex spatial designs.

July 14, 1997 – Sept. 29, 2001 Parsons International Limited Makati CityCad Designer/Draftsman* Project involved: Gizan Military Facilities (MODA) Gizan, Saudi Arabia* Worked as Structural Cad Designer/Draftsman on Building and Ammunition structures. Civil works, Ports, Piers and Bridges. (July 1997-July 1999)* Prepares drawings for reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures from contract and/or shop drawings including reinforcement detailing;* Prepares drawings for building Structural plans, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and Tower structures including typical connection details;* Prepares Schedules of footings, ramps, beams, girders and slabs including bar bending.* Prepares drawings and sketches using CAD workstations, as applicable, working closely with other Designers, Drafters, and Engineers to ensure a coordinated design;* Applies standard design principles and theories to complete assignments.
