This was the first major project of this nature built in Mongolia since the Russian departure in the early 1990's.

Started partway through the project to take over the commercial management of the project, which included cost control, scope changes, management of all in country subcontracts, purchasing, accounting and finance, coordinating local statutory design and construction approvals and other support as required in order to fast track the completion of the work.

Client for this project was Gulf Resources (Kakap) Ltd and the project scope was total EPCM of retrofit addition of gas processing facilities onto three existing platforms in order to export 66 MMSCFD (initial base load, later 90) of gas in subsea pipelines to Singapore. Scope also included installation of 30 km of 10" & 12" in field pipeline at depth of 300 feet. Site location was 280 miles NE of Singapore. Value of works was approximately $60 million.

Responsible for commercial management of the project. This included control of budget, cash flow and management of accounting services. Duties also included the compilation and administration of some thirty varied onshore and offshore subcontract packages.

Contract works included upgrading port facilities, river dredging, refinery site grading, site piling, building and infrastructure works, underground electrical and piping utilities, provision of site services, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and piping works. Value of works performed was $80 million.
