CAREER RESUME
With an impressive diversity of significant experiences, I have developed a familiarity with several field of work. I am experienced with electronic hardware design, digital signal processing, optical and wireless data communication, petrochemical refinement, water treatment, environmental protection and various power generation systems. I am quite familiar with project safety, construction methodologies and quality assurance. I have demonstrated to my superiors and colleagues that I posses effective skills in the area of engineering and field management.
My experience, education, and computer skills have confirmed invaluable assets to both myself and my team mates. I am always eager to learn new concepts, techniques and technologies. Strengths include team oriented, self-motivated, self-management, communication, technical development skills, as well as leadership, vision, results orientated, and a high-energy approach to work and life.

WORK EXPERIENCE
From Sept 2002 To Present
Research and Design Engineer, Engineering faculty, University of Ottawa.
Design and implementation of wireless smart sensor agents with FPGAs and microcontrollers platforms for a pervasive intelligent monitoring system.
Responsible for for many undergraduate courses: Design Project (4th year),
Digital Design with VHDL (3rd year),
Circuit theory (2nd year) and Computer architecture I (2nd year).
-------------------------------
From Jan 2000- To May 2001
Field Support Engineer, Nortel Networks New Product Deployment, Ottawa
Developed and tested various customer oriented procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Provided recommendations for Quality Improvements and Customer Satisfaction through active participation in design reviews based on customer feedback.
Optical network lab co-prime involved in: customer demos, staff training, and technical support for verification and field trials for customer acceptance test.
Accomplishment:
Improved and reduced setup time by 50 % by implementing new deployment techniques
Involved in the world premiere deployment (Terabit Challenge) of a 160
bi-directional wavelength DWDM optical link carried out on live traffic over
5 spans.
-------------------------------
From May 1999-To Sept 1999
Quality Control Supervisor, R.Blais et filsNoranda Mines Magnola, Asbestos.
Assisted and verified the installation of several Fiberglas vessels and gas scrubbers with various related components for a magnesium chloride purification and filtration stage.
Performed "Hands On" inspections of vessels and provided technical assistance for a preventive safety program.
Accomplishment:
Discovered major defects in vessels. Supervised the team for the complete evaluation and the management of the repairs. Assisted in finding the root cause of defects with the supplier. Provided and implemented new corrective actions to ensure on site effective installation and storage.
-------------------------------
From May 1992 To Sept 1997
During this period, I accomplished various task related to supervision and project management.
I actively coordinated several maintenance shutdown repairs and supervised inspections carried out on process towers, furnaces, bundles, drums, tubes, reactors, heat exchangers and boilers.
I also dynamically participated on several small projects such as heavy piping/structural steel reparations or mechanical instrument installation. I
performed many modifications and adjustments to insure drawings and specifications compliance for special requirements.
Accomplishment:
Installed a new Titanium air-slide conveyor system.
Replaced a Kiln section and realigned the complete structure.
Installed a new JOY precipitator's antipollution system.
Erected two digesters with ten pressurized vessels.
Totally rebuilt the upper and lower part of a precipitator.
Assisted security adviser

-------------------------------
From May 1986 To Nov 1991
Over this period, I worked with numerous industrial constructions firms with an increasing levels of responsibility and authority. I traveled throughout the province of Quebec where I specialized as a rigger, fitter and welder. I
was actively involved in the planning, designing, rigging and signaling of crane operators to lift various heavy sections and other parts into their specific place.
Accomplishment:
Inspected, extracted and repaired heat exchangers and column trays during shutdown.
Replaced several feed-pipes of a furnace and a cracker unit involving a 990
tons crane.
Erected three chimneys (390 feet).
Installed dust bags collectors and aluminum air-slide conveyor system.
Replaced the superheater, waterwall tubes, ductwork, burner nozzles, refractory and piping of a boiler damaged by an explosion.
Fitted and aligned sections of two boiler units' water tubes and walls, air duct, steam and mud drums.
