Plan, establish and implement new or revised operational policies and procedures that would enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Make independent judgment in the interpretation of the project contract and specifications. Coordinate with other departments as an engineering group in supervising on-going projects. Protect the best interest of the company from onerous claims. Conduct periodic meeting with the contractor to evaluate performance and sort out problems arising. Review and approved submitted weighted percent for monthly billings, construction schedules, sample materials, catalogs and brochures, drawings and plans, and monthly progress billings. Assist the Civil Project Division in the review and approval of submitted structural designs and calculations for turnkey projects (according to FIDIC Plant Contract – Conditions of Contract for Plant and Design-Build Projects).
