Design and Numerical Simulation of Flow of Centrifugal Compressor for Turbocharger with Fluent 5.2 Computational Fluid Dynamic Program.
Brief about thesis: It is about using Fluent CFD program to simulate the flow in a centrifugal compressor. This thesis is about to compare the design of compressor from the CFD simulation and manual calculation, observing the velocity and pressure distribution through the impeller of centrifugal compressor. Also to find other phenomenon that occurs in centrifugal compressor such as surging characteristic, chocking, vortex, pre whirl and eddy current in impeller.
