DESCRIPTION OF DUIES: Teaching,Research and geotechnical investigations assignment. Presently teaching Soil Mechanics courses to undergraduate students. Also supervising Research of two B.Sc syndicates and two Ph.D Student. Regularly involved in taking post-graduate level classes of Geotechnical engineering program of National Institute of Transport. These classes pertain to design of earthen dams and Foundation Engineering. Responsible for planning, ecution and report writing of Geotechnical Investigations for buildings and highways. Have carried out geotechnical investigations for hundreds of projects including rojects in earthquake hit Northern areas.

Worked as Team Leader of Halcrow Consultants Pakistan on World Bank funded "Raising of Bund Khushdil Khan Project, Quetta Balochistan " from July 2006 to May 2007 (intermittent assignment). Worked involved review of previous design, detailed geotechnical investigations for dam raising and detailed design using GEOSLOPE software suite.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Responsible for planning and execution of the seepage measurement flume construction on the left bank of iluhur Main Dam. The work involved planning and execution of Geotechnical Investigations for the project and const of a 20 m deep 70 m long underground Cut-off wall using secant piles. The cut-off wall has been constructed through rockfill. The job also involved construction of 80m long, 1.5 m high RCC wall and seepage Measurement flume and testing of system Using radioisotopes. The Team Leader was also responsible for replacement of head gates for the power turbines and addition of rockfill berms on the U/S & D/S slopes.

* Construction and supervision of precise under-water concrete block placement on U/S slope of main dam using pontoon crane and ROV mounted CCTV so as to enhance dam stability
* Construction and supervision of rockfill wedges on the U/S and D/S of the main dam.
* Analysis of instrumentation data for monitoring impact of new loads imposed by remedial works on the original dam
* Evaluation of dam safety during construction
* Testing of rockfill for compaction using large scale density tests and monitoring of shear strength of rockfill using large scale shear tests
