Participated in the supervision and project management of all architectural and finishing works for the New Terminal Building at Sharm El-Sheikh Airport, Egypt.
* Design, construction documents, project management and supervision of construction. Project management and supervision services comprise managing the design stage, budgeting and cost estimation, assisting the Client in concluding World Bank funding, contract drafting according to World Bank regulations, contractor's prequalification, managing tender stage, negotiating and contract awarding
* Acting as the Engineer under the FIDIC Contract and administering day-to-day site activities, controlling construction time and cost, performing quality control, reviewing materials and shop drawings, monitoring health and safety, testing, commissioning, and handing over.
The project consists of a new 2-level Terminal Building with a total built-up area of 43,000 m², handling 2,500 passengers/hour and featuring, on the first level, 40 check-ins, 8 departure gates and a VIP arrival/departure gate, an arrival terminal with expanded customs facilities and a departure hall with duty free/shopping areas in addition to all airport systems and services. The second level is dedicated to food lounges. The landside area (135,000 m²) accommodates besides the terminal building ancillary buildings, sewage treatment plant, 42,000 m² of vehicular roads and car-parking space (100 buses and 250 cars), and all landscaping works.
Duties further comprised environmental protection measures, including solid waste disposal and noise abatement.

Site Architect.
Working with the main Consultant on a huge complex of residential, commercial, office and hotel buildings, including the five-star Intercontinental Hotel with exclusive 870 rooms fully-equipped with services and facilities. Project Manager: International Bechtel Inc. Project value: US$ 600 million.
