A former 21-year ¡¥employee/manager¡¦ with a major oil company consortium and the recent owner of a consulting company. I feel my experience working in such dynamic environments and with diverse workforces makes me the perfect candidate for a variety of operational, technical and management positions. My background is very broad and my people skills are exceptional. I can manage many people and multiple tasks without crisis. I create a sense of calm by utilizing an organized approach to completing tasks.
My areas of experience includes but is not limited to the following:

* Vapor Recover - maintenance, management of rebuild, management;
* Hydrocarbon Pipeline - maintenance, metering & measurement, management;

As both an ¡¥employee/manager¡¦ and as the owner of a consulting company, I have extensive training and acquired practical experience dealing with employees and performance based issues. I understand the importance of developing, implementing and delivering successful results. Although the majority of my experience was acquired in the oil industry, my management and people skills will be successful in any industry.
Special Consideration: Although I have held several positions and numerous titles, my background is all facility operational and maintenance based. All positions I have held throughout my career are due to my understanding of:

Because of my broad and extensive background, some of the points you consider highly important may not be the main focus of my resume. But, I assure you I have the experience and my resume is 100% accurate without any fluff. My understanding of all phases of an operation is complete. I am competent in all of the required areas, but am extremely strong in the following areas:

I currently own WFR Metering and am in the process of selling my company. After the sell I would like to continue working. I have a working knowledge of all levels of business and I have extensive training in problem solving and media with emphasis on evaluating, motivating and managing individuals.

Education. My education might be considered unique in that it is hundreds of hours of modules covering organizations, management, management styles, supervising and motivating employees, and organizing and delivering project results. As a result of my training and education, decision making and problem solving are based on sound evaluation and review. I have performed and been promoted into jobs normally requiring a degree and have been highly successful. Along with management skills, I have obtained the specific technical education for whatever a job required throughout the years.
Travel. Traveling is not an issue. As a consultant I have been on the road for extended periods of time and understand the adversity. I also understand the problems encountered managing employees working out of a suitcase.
Sales. Although I can sale anything that I believe in, cold call commission sales is not what I am currently seeking. I do understand the personality and performances required to be a successful salesperson. Managing these personalities and skills is not a stretch from the consulting company that I own.
Communications. I can communicate with individuals at all levels within a company. I have received extensive media training and endless hours learning to listen and analyze an individuals intent when communicating problems, concerns or issues.
Salary Requirements. Salary negotiable but is expected to be in line with job requirements and location.
Relocation. Relocating is not a problem.

I am the Director / President & Owner of WFR Metering a consulting firm that specializes in crude oil / gas accounting and the maintenance of the field support systems and equipment. A few of the services offered are; certifications, waterdraws, writing procedures, technician training, development of audit resolution programs, system analysis and interpretation of industry standards and defining their intent. WFR Metering was started as a part-time venture and has developed into a recognized leader in the field of consulting for the oil industry through the use of specialized experts throughout the United States. Company employees and specialized experts currently reside in Florida, New York, Texas, North Carolina and Alaska.

I am currently the owner of WFR Metering. In addition to my responsibilities as owner, I spend a great deal of my available time in the field to ensure familiarity with processes and personnel.

* I started the company as a part-time venture and it has evolved into a recognized and reliable source for metering and measurement consulting.
* The company has/had open contracts with most if not all of the major oil companies; BP Exploration, Alaska, BP North America, Alyeska Pipeline Service Co., Cook Inlet Pipelines, ConocoPhillips, CrossTimbers Pipeline, Tesoro Refineries, and Meter Check, to name a few.
* I personally developed the only commercially available software for performing prover calibrations using the master meter method.

Alyeska Pipeline Service Co.
Senior Corporate Measurement Specialist
This was a corporate oversight position that was responsible for the integrity of the production totals delivered through the Alaska Pipeline, valued at $25 - $30 million per day. The position provided technical assistance to field locations, interpreted national and international standards, wrote operating and maintenance procedures, acted as the point of contact with governments, vendors, and major oil companies. The position required extensive travel and the ability to manage numerous tasks, analyze situations, and make cost effective decisions.
Note Worthy:
* Co-developed and authored the preventative maintenance program for the metering and measurement system for the Alyeska Pipeline (9 locations covering 800 miles). Was also tasked with the implementation and monitoring of the process for success.
* Started up two metering stations.
* Instrumental in the factory acceptance testing of two metering stations.
* Played a major role in the design, installation and start-up of a state of art quality bank measurement system. The design is still recognized as the standard for all quality bank measurement systems.

Alyeska Pipeline Service Co.
Manager, Operations Support
In this position, I was responsible for managing the support groups for the Valdez Marine Terminal (1,000 acre facility) in the following areas; documentation control, warehousing, training, fire/safety, environmental, and employee housing assistance. I frequently met, provided tours, and entertained influential individuals visiting the facility. It was during this period that I received extensive organizational, budgetary and media training.
Note Worthy:
* Responsible for the setup and organization of a new department to manage all of the operational support functions for the Valdez Marine Terminal. These functions were identified as areas of concern by oversight agencies following the Exxon Valdez Disaster.

Alyeska Pipeline Service Co.
Manager, Power/Vapor and OM&S
Immediately following the Exxon Valdez disaster, I performed the managing duties responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Valdez Marine Terminal's powerhouse (43.6 megawatt), vapor recovery system (5 rotary compressors, 13,500 scfm each), and oil movements and storage facilities (9.18 million barrels). The incumbent manager assumed duties closer related to the oil spill clean up effort.
Note Worthy:
* Managed the department without incident while having to address some serious personal issues.
March 1980 - April 1989
Alyeska Pipeline Service Co.
Terminal Measurement Specialist
In this position, I was responsible for the integrity of the volumes delivered to super tankers (ranging 250,000 to 1.8 million barrels) transporting crude oil from Alaska to the continuous 48 states, Hawaii and the Virgin Islands. It was during my incumbency that the necessity for regular outside audits decreased from 4 to 6 per year to one (1) every other year. It was also during this period that Alyeska's measurement became recognized as 'world class'.
Note Worthy:
* I was the project manager for a number of projects dealing with the determination of sampling system location on flowing pipelines. These project results remain the basis for API sampling recommendations.
* I reduced the number of audits from 4 or 6 annually to a frequency of 1 every other year. This was accomplished using proper documentation and attention to details of the daily operations. A typical audit cost between $50,000 to $75,000 each.
* Developed the methods and procedures for monitoring performance and maintenance standards of 12¡¨ crude oil turbine meters. These methods and procedures are the basis for API recommendations for performance standards and evaluating all meters currently in operation.
OTHER POSITIONS:
Rotating Equipment Specialist
In this position, I functioned as the mechanical engineer/advisor.
Note Worthy:
* I was the project manager for the turnaround and rebuilding of the largest vapor recovery system in the world at the time.
* I was responsible for on line design changes to systems as the result of normal start up problems at the Valdez Marine Terminal.
Maintenance Supervisor
In this position, I was responsible for the supervision of 18 to 22 maintenance technicians of various disciplines. The disciplines included millwrights, machinist, plumbers, welders, heavy equipment operators and other mechanical support crafts.
Maintenance Technician
In this position, I performed the duties of a maintenance technician in power plant and vapor recovery units.
