Ranger Cross Natural Gas Compression Station. Terminating, troubleshooting, start up and commissioning of all electrical equipment systems related to plant operations.
February 2007 to September 2007
- Hired as Journeyman Electrician by Lauren Engineering to assist with
Construction of Nevada Solar One, a 70 Mw Solar Power Plant south of
Boulder City Nevada.
- Working in Solar field troubleshooting various electronic and
Electrical problems related to the rotation of mirror array.
- Moved to Power Block to assist with vendor skid integration to
Ovation DCS. Troubleshoot and correct electrical problems to enable
On time start up of steam turbine.
- Promoted to Instrument Technician position, re-wiring 850Kw Cat
Generator to co- ordinate dead buss activation for critical loads and live buss Synchronization for generator exercise routine.
- Performing inventory of Siemens cabinet terminations to create status completion report. Also doing field jbox and device survey for completion status.
- Working with third party calibration team to conduct point to point
Cable termination of cts, pts on the generator 15 kv circuit, checking for correct phase sequencing coming to the protective relay panel related to the generator monitoring and synchronization with
Nevada Power.

- Working in Sumterville, Florida on construction phase of
Eagle Roofing Tile Plant.
Running conduit, organizing the wire pulls for raw materials,
Kiln wet and dry doors on line 19, trouble shooting kiln propane burners. Troubleshoot and repair production problems.
November 2005 to November 2006
- I worked for F & H Contracting of Crystal River, Florida.
A union contractor that was performing several jobs at
Progress Energy's Nuclear Power Plant CR-3. I worked on the
Control Rod Drive Power supply which involved the replacement of the 2- 500 KVA, 3000 pound 3 ph.480 Pri-
6 phase 120, secondary transformers. We also replaced the 2
input regulators which weighed 1900 Ibs each. I did all the control wiring which monitored the output of the
Transformers and functionality of the regulators. Completed ahead of schedule, commissioned with Roy Lane the project engineer.
During the past year I have worked on several short term
Projects.
- New Orleans - FEMA trailer sites and Murphy Oil Refinery.
- Port St. Lucie Nuke re-fuel work.
- Progress Energy Nuke CR-3 Helper Cooling Tower added capacity.

- America West 790 MW Power house. Omaha Nebraska.

Southdown) in Brooksville, Florida.
- Troubleshoot and wire all types of equipment related to the production of cement. Modify SLC100 cooler dump gate sequencers to allow for less frequent dumping.
- work on fire alarm system installation.
- Troubleshoot and repair all electrical equipment related to the production of cement in a plant producing over 1 million tons annually.
- Effectively trouble shoot 5000 Hp Synchronous motor with ground
Fault intermittent trips.
February 2001 to May 2002
- worked as a foreman for F & H Contracting of Crystal River, doing
A Beck damper upgrade on Unit 4 Progress Energy Coal Plant in Crystal
River. We pulled in new signal and power for all dampers for control of the boiler on this unit including ID FD and Primary air fans.
Completed on time. Also did some MOV and burner control rewire.
- traveled the country working short term on many different construction projects. Many large projects around the

returned home.
- Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge in Orlando Florida, worked in the
Boiler room on electrical, then some room trim out then onto troubleshooting standard emergency lighting circuits.Consolidated
Electric.( 6 weeks end of project)
- I then worked for Williams Power at the Plant Vogtle Nuclear Power
Plant in Augusta, Georgia for a refueling outage. Pulling wire for
Control room modification. In containment last day running conduit.
Laid off at the end of the refuel.
- The next job was at Tosco Shell in Alton Illinois where a fire had
Caused considerable damage. Worked 7-12's night for 3 ½ weeks to conclusion of project. Running conduit, pulling wire, control work.
- Sach's Electric St. Louis Illinois, Chrysler Plant Quad upgrade.
Worked in area of line conveyor, control wiring, troubleshooting
Prior to start up. Also some conduit work in paint line area.
- Working for Sach's Electric at the Kennedy Space Center, Launch
Complex 41, Hensel Phelps overall contractor.

November 1997 to February 2001 Southern Power & Controls,Tampa
- Doing a automation upgrade at Southdown's large cement plant in Brooksville, Florida. Converting from relay to PLC
control.
- Working as a leadman on the Sea-3 LPG project in Tampa on
Pendola Pt. I was the primary troubleshooting and commissioning electrician on this project.
