Nature of work: EPCM main contract for Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning activities of Pharmaceutical Project which includes Civil, Mechanical, ACMV, Architectural, Fire Fighting, Electrical & Instrumentation works for Admin, QA/QC Laboratory, Spine, Coupling, PS Process, Utility buildings & Offsite utilities infrastructure areas. Roles & Responsibilities in Foster Wheeler: -

* Reporting to Project Control Manager

* Setup and maintain project control systems, including schedule, progress, cost and manhour elements.

* Developing work scope, developing plans, establishing progress curves, measuring and reporting progress achieved, etc.

* Supervise and mentor a group of Planners for preparation of Engineering, Procurement & Construction CPM Schedule in Primavera P3e (Version 5.0) including manpower Resources.

* Setup and maintain progress measurement system like Physical Progress, Progress distribution, Histogram in Foster Wheeler Standard Software, updating the progress on weekly basis, preparation of Reports, Histogram for analyzing the progress.

* Finalizing of Sub-contractor's Progress Measurement weightage system during Kick-off meeting.

* Updating of Engineering, Procurement & Construction Progress in CPM Master Schedule (Primavera – Ver P3e), review with Construction Management & submission to client.

* Issuance of Level 3 Primavera schedule to Subcontractors for submission of their detailed Level 4 schedule.

* Analyzing of Sub-contractor's Level 4 detailed schedule for approval / issue of comments.

* Follow-up with the Sub-contractor's work schedule and tie-up with the main Master Schedule to avoid delays on any particular scope of works.

* Identifying the critical path activities in a project which has total float value of less than or equal to zero, to discuss with the project team on mitigating the activities to avoid slipping into the negative float.

* Ensure programming logic and create the Local relationships between the tasks to avoid critical lags that will hinder the available floats in the program.

* Perform analysis on the variance between Target start and Target finish with the Present start and Present finish, Early start and Early finish with the Late start and Late finish and propose the possible methods upon discussing with the project team to complete the project as per the required schedule.

* Ensure project on schedule according to contractual and owner's requirements and take remedial measures for completion of the project on time.

* Organizing of Construction Co-ordination weekly meeting with all Sub-contractor's representative, reviewing of constraints, progress, further action to be taken, etc.

* Organizing of Weekly Schedule review meeting with client (GSK), analyze the schedule with progress, take note for priority activities and advise concern superintendants to take action on priority basis.
