Duties and Responsibilities:

„Ï To overhaul, repair of all kinds of valves such as butterfly valves, globe valves, gate valves, boiler valves & safety valves

„Ï To remove valves from its position & bring to workshop.

„Ï Dismantle, clean, inspection, machining (if needed), lapping.
„Ï After completing overhauling box up the valves with new packings.
„Ï Testing the valves in workshop before install its position.
„Ï Install the valves with new gaskets and testing the systems.
„Ï Install the valves operating system (manual).
„Ï Cutting bending, threading & installing hydraulic & pneumatic tubes & pipes for operating the valves.
„Ï Maintenance, troubleshooting & repairing marine machineries.
„Ï To overhaul and repair & installation of hydraulic, Pneumatic system such as winch, windless & cranes
„Ï Engine maintenance, repair & overhauling.
„Ï Application of various kinds of measuring instruments.
„Ï Using various kinds of hand tools, portable power tools.
„Ï Servicing & testing various kinds of pumps (Centrifugal, Gear, Screw, Reciprocating, Diaphragm etc).
„Ï Servicing & test of air compressor.
„Ï Servicing, overhauling of marine generator Diesel engine(four stroke) and heat exchanger.
„Ï Maintenance of evaporator system, boiler, oil separator system, fuel system starting system etc
„Ï Work of marine engine: KAMEWA, MTU, Man B&W, MITSHUI B&W, SULZER,WARTSILA, YANMAR and DEUTZE etc. models.
„Ï Solve problem aggressively and carry out QCC activities.
„Ï Knowledge of welding (arc) & gas cutting.
„Ï Knowledge about ISO (International Standard Organisation) 9001 & 14001.
