* Blackbird Mine Site Group (BMSC) ) Construction Manager for Phase I, Phase II and Phase III of this four year Super Fund project, located in Lemhi County Idaho under Administrative Order of Consent (Docket No. 10-95-0083-CERCLA, June 15, 1995. The water quality, habitat, and aquatic biota in Big Deer Creek and Panther Creek were improved to levels capable of supporting all life stages of anadromous and resident salmonoids.
* Project activities performed included: construction of a slurry wall; construction of an earthen diversion dam and two earthen sediment dams; excavation for a dam foundation and core trench, and foundation grouting; construction of diversion ditches, sediment ponds, and drop structures road improvements and new road construction; construction of a foundation drainage systems in a repository for waste rock; waste rock removal; and waste rock test plot construction; surface soil sampling; ground water monitoring well installations, testing and sampling; adit water sampling; stream water quality profiling; surface water sampling; construction of the 7100 Dam for temporary storage of contact water; construction of a new spillway for the clean water dam; construction of diversion and collection ditches; water treatment plant facilities upgrade; and construction of an alluvial groundwater cutoff wall. This $65,000,000 project was completed on time and within the allotted budget.
* U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District White Alice Site Removal Action Northeast Cape, St Lawrence Island, Alaska Contact No. DACA85-02-C-0011. Contractor Quality Control System Manager responsible for Plans and reports; Providing and improving access to the work sites; Removal of above storage tanks (ASTs) and fuel lines; Removal of containerized hazardous and toxic waste (Con-HTW); Removal of drums and miscellaneous items and debris; Removal of septic systems, utilidors, and water wells; Removal of former power and communications poles and wires; Removal abatement of asbestos, and Demolition and Removal of buildings, a tram, and other structures and appurtenances. The $12,000,000 project was completed on time and within the allotted budget.
* Terminal 18 Development three year Project (New Harbor Island) for the Port of Seattle and SeaTac Airport: Construction Quality Control Manager responsible for: The construction of the new Harbor Island roadways; temporary traffic control; roadway excavation; constructing new roadway with either asphalt or concrete pavement over base course; installing cement concrete curb, gutter, and cement concrete side work; single faced concrete barrier; beam guardrail; Impact attenuators; driveways; curb ramps; installing Pavement markings; temporary and permanent signing; sign structure; removing existing signal systems and installing new signal systems; constructing retaining walls; maintenance buildings: railroads; parking lots, and landscaping.
* Extensive modifications to the existing utilities on Harbor Island included: petroleum pipelines; water utilities; storm drainage; sanitary sewer; natural gas systems, and communication systems. The $300,000,000 project was completed on time and within the allotted budget
* Soil nailing projects (i.e., temporary nail shoring wall) 5th/Yessler, Seattle, WA; and El Portal Road reconstruction, Yosemite National Park, CA): Construction monitoring of excavation, soil nail, hole drilling, drill rigs and methods, tendon installations, grouting, structural wall facing and drainage, nail testing (ultimate, verification, proof, creep tests).
* Puget Sound Energy Steel pole foundation Seattle, WA: Inspection included compliance with Geotechnical construction specifications, reinforcement cages, excavations, reinforcement placement, documentation, concrete testing, environmental concerns, and public relations.
* Modules 7 and 8 at the Columbia Ridge Chemical Waste Landfill in Arlington, Oregon: Responsibilities included directing and controlling work activities to ensure compliance with design and specifications; preparing and assigning work to field inspectors; and maintaining records of all laboratory testing, material testing, and Contractor Quality Assurance/Contractor Quality Control (CQA/CQC) information.

* Site Analysts, Redmond, Washington. Functioned as the project Quality Control manager for a soil remediation project at a former petroleum bulk site. Responsible for adherence to client's specifications related to the excavation and removal of contaminated soil; development of documentation measures and procedures for transport and contaminated soil waste tracking; coordination of the disposal of the waste material; institution of soil testing procedures program in compliance with agency requirements; and performance of analytical data validation to insure agency recognition of a successful remediation.
* Resident Engineer for United State Courthouse building, Seattle Prepared and assign field inspection work orders. Reviewed submittals such as shop drawings, certificate of compliance, plans/specifications, material samples, construction activities work plan, manufacturer data and test reports for approval. Coordinate work activities between subcontractor and contractor. Attend construction quality control and progress meetings. Review all the structural weld, concrete, epoxy dowel and fire proofing test reports
* Resident Engineer for the Terminal 5 Development Project for the Port of Seattle:
* Construction Quality Control Manager responsible for: The construction of the new Harbor Island roadways; temporary traffic control; roadway excavation; constructing new roadway with either asphalt or concrete pavement over base course; installing cement concrete curb, gutter, and cement concrete side work; single faced concrete barrier; beam guardrail; Impact attenuators; driveways; curb ramps; installing Pavement markings; temporary and permanent signing; sign structure; removing existing signal systems and installing new signal systems; constructing retaining walls; maintenance buildings: railroads; parking lots, and landscaping.

* Resident engineer/ CQA Manager for the construction of a Debris Handling Building. The project included a double composite lining system and a solution collection and recovery system. Performed QA monitoring of soil and geosynthetic liners and closures.
* Environmental Science and Engineering, Redmond, Washington. Functioned as the project Quality Control Officer for an Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) at a decommissioned bulk fuel storage facility confirmed to have petroleum impacted soil. Responsible for the development and institution of a 3-phase quality control plan with the client that delineated the definable tasks for each ESA action area (Phase I--research, Phase II--exploration and Phase III--remediation) and set time and agenda for preparatory, initial, and follow up construction quality control meetings. The $300,000 project was completed on time and within the allotted budget.

EXPERIENCE IN VARIOUS OIL & GAS PIPELINES: TRANS-ALASKA PIPELINE SYSTEM (TAPS), ARCO/PHILLIPS ALASKA INC. LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS (LNG)

Managed Alpine Development Project on the North Slope for ARCO/Phillips Alaska Inc. Mr. Adeyemi supervised the construction of $600 million oilfield development project, including the following tasks:
* Managed settlement-critical transition zones for the hot oil and seawater pipelines horizontal directional drilled (HDD) crossing of the Colville River, and designed engineering measures to maintain stable riverbanks and limit settlement of the crossings during the design life of the pipelines.
* Performed a geotechnical investigation of permafrost soils to provide design data for building and bridge foundations, pipeline vertical support measures, and road and airstrip design.
* Managed module foundations, roads, pads, an airstrip, erosion control measures, a tank farm, and related facilities.
* Managed river and coastal specialists to set design parameters for gravel structures and pipelines in the coastal and river-delta environment.
* Obtained permitting authorizations and monitored surface water during HDD operations.
* Managed engineering in support of pipeline right-of-way and gravel structures wetlands permitting.
* Managed hydrology projects, including breakup studies, flood frequency analyses, spring breakup and monitoring studies, and updates to a 2-D Finite Element Surface Water Model for the Colville River Delta.

* Project Manager and Project Engineer for five separate Trans-Alaska Gas Pipeline projects for various clients in Alaska. The projects, which included both gas transmission and gas export projects, involved proposed 800-mile-long or longer natural gas pipelines across Alaska. Tasks included engineering terrain unit analysis; pipeline moding analysis and moding algorithms; frost heave and thaw settlement analysis, mitigation, and conceptual design; permafrost and geotechnical studies; river crossing evaluation; compressor station sitting and engineering; workpad analysis; construct ability reviews; route analysis; Project Description, Design Basis, and Design Criteria Document preparation; review of existing design studies and preliminary designs, previously submitted permit documents, and other literature; updating a lands list, preparation of a Geographical Information System (GIS) for land status, and researching unique land status issues; cost estimating; risk analysis; liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility site evaluations; LNG facility site layout; review of codes affecting design and construction of LNG facilities, including recommending changes to code committee; negotiating with state and federal regulators; and other related tasks.
* Project Manager and Project Engineer for three separate Kenai Peninsula pipeline projects, including the Tustumena Pipeline, Wolf Lake Pipeline, and Kenai-Kachemak Pipeline, for various clients. Engineered and managed multiple tasks for these natural gas pipeline projects, including route evaluation, route map preparation, permit analysis, river crossing alternative analysis, HDD analysis and design, geotechnical investigation and analysis, economic analysis, preparation of a lands list, preparation of a state right-of-way permit application, preparation of an alignment sheet, preparation of construction "typicals," risk analysis, buoyancy control, thermal analysis, permit negotiations, cost estimating, and other related tasks.
* Performed various civil engineering projects along the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. The primary projects, which follow, included civil monitoring, maintenance and repair, feasibility studies, final design, and operations engineering:
* Project Engineer for the 147-mile-long fuel gas pipeline that fueled Pump Stations 2, 3, and 4,
* performing monitoring, civil repairs at stream crossings, corrosion investigations, thermal analysis, and repair of pipeline segments that had buckled out of the ground.

* Project Geotechnical Engineer for the Ship Escort Response Vessel Dock/Valdez Emergency Operations Center project, which included onshore and offshore geotechnical investigation and pile testing, bathymetry surveys, and geophysical investigations
.
* Project Engineer for upgrading access (linewide) for oil spill contingency response, including roads, boat ramps, and bridges.

* Project Engineer responsible for monitoring and repairing river training structures and river and floodplain crossings, and performing design of new river training and erosion control projects.

* Project Engineer responsible for working extensively on monitoring and repairing facility foundations on permafrost.
* Field Operations Engineer responsible for supporting and overseeing multidiscipline projects across the northern 200 miles of the pipeline.

* Soil and Groundwater Remediation:
* Groundwater Remediation, Tyrells Pet Food Plant, Seattle, Washington. Managed a product recovery program for the removal of hydraulic oil using an in situ free–phase hydrocarbon recovery system.
* Soil Remediation, Tacoma, Washington. Performed a feasibility study of remedial options and managed the removal and transport of approximately 2,200 cubic yards of gasoline-affected soil to a thermal treatment facility.
* Soil and Groundwater Remediation, Mount Vernon, Washington. Performed a feasibility study of remedial options and managed the installation of an air sparking and vapor extraction system to remediate gasoline-affected soil and groundwater around an operational UST basin.
* Soil and Groundwater Remediation, Redmond, Washington. Performed a feasibility study of remedial options and managed (1) the removal, transport, and disposal of approximately 2,000 cubic yards of gasoline-affected soil to a landfill facility and (2) removal and disposal of petroleum-affected groundwater.

* Subsurface Site Characterizations and Investigations:
* Mr. Adeyemi managed site characterization programs for each of the remedial investigations described below.
* U.S. Navy, Adak, Alaska. Consisted of grid installation, surface soil sample collection, field sample analysis, and data interpretation at an equipment storage yard with petroleum and polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) contamination.
* Mayer, Brown & Platt, Vashon, Washington. Consisted of drilling and installing groundwater monitoring wells at a retail mall that formerly contained a gas station.
* Petrocard Systems, Inc., Marysville, Washington. Consisted of (1) drilling soil probes and borings and (2) sampling soil and groundwater at 12 Pacific Pride stations in western Washington.
* SWF Machinery, Kennewick, Washington. Consisted of drilling soil boring and soil sampling in an abandoned drain field at an operating machine shop.
* Echlin, Inc., Canby, Oregon. Consisted of drilling soil borings and soil sampling at a proposed industrial building site.
* Circle K Corporation, Clarkston, Washington. Consisted of drilling of soil borings and sampling soil at an operational market and petroleum dispensing facility.
* Ashland Oil Company, Spokane, Washington. Consisted of drilling of soil borings and soil sampling at two former gasoline stations.
* Amerco Real Estate, Kennewick, Washington. Consisted of drilling of soil borings and groundwater sampling at an automotive service center with confirmed releases of petroleum products, PCBs, and chlorinated compounds.
